This is the worst hospital I have ever received care from on so many levels in my life. First on May the 19th I came to the ED at Medical City Of Arlington Texas. At that time I presented with high fever and stiff neck and was worried about possible exposure to Meningitis. The attending PA at that time advised me that it would be in my best interest to allow them to do a LP to rule out possible meningitis. During the ending of the LP after laid down on my back for two hours as instructed to do I got up to go home and be discharged when this horrible headache hit me. I them notified the NP that did the LP that I was experiencing and post Lumbar puncher headache. She then told me oh well that was the risk you take by getting an LP. I was like are you kidding me right now you are being Mouthy with me and I am trying to express my discomfort and concerns to you Doc. My husband and I asked her to admit me for a 24 hour watch because we had a feeling this was going to turn bad on top of my other illnesses that I came in at first for. The AP came back in to my ED room saying she was unsure what she was going to put in the system to be able to admit me into the hospital. I told her do whatever it takes because I was in terrible pain and could not go home in this condition. So she did after hours of going back and forth with her about the CSF leak that we feared that just took place. at 11:30pm I was moved from the ED to a room.
I then was taken to the 4th floor to room 411 where I stayed a total of 9 days, 5 of the day I was fighting high fevers of 102-103F my stay was from May 18-27th. I received a blood patch by a very rude and nasty Anesthesiologist resident named De Gala Virgilio MD. 5/27/25. I stopped him due to his rudeness and ruff handling of me during the blood patch process The second blood patch was placed later on that night my husband took me back because I did not get enuff blood in my back to fix the CSF leak.
The next Anesthesiologist Paul Courtney was amazing he took his time and helped me get a 15 mls blood patch in my spine he wanted to get 20 mls but it was becoming to painful for me so he stopped. My 2nd blood patch was much better he was kind and loving to me in my situation. That blood patch worked but on Sunday I sneezed and it dislodged so I came back to the hospital next morning explain to the ED team that I was cooking and seasoning got up my nose causing me to sneeze really hard resulting in my blood patch dislodging. I asked the Anesthesiologist that was on call if she would put another blood patch for me she said no it was too risky. I said ok so what are my option she then told me that the IR team has equipment that they can you to find the leak and go directly to it and close it up with blindly going in like a blood patch. I have asked for about 4 different less invasive fixes to my CSF leak and no one is try to help nor listen to me. Dr. Folerock lied on his notes today I will attach them to the email that I am sending to corporate office to appeal his decision for my treatment and his doctors notes. Go to any other hospital than this one it is beyond ghetto and unprofessional.

Would give a zero if I could. I explained to the nurse everything that was going on whenever she answered, which was just a yes or no question regarding being contagious on antibiotics and how it spreads from a scientific standpoint, as I couldn’t find the specific answer online. After 6 minutes of conversation and getting all of my information at the beginning, she suddenly says she can’t talk to me about it due to me being a minor (18 in a few days and wasn’t a personal medical question), and proceeds to get on the phone with my guardian and say I’m asking about making out with people. I told her I had a bacterial URI and she went on for 15 minutes about the different ways colds can spread, then asked what I was diagnosed with I told her 8 times, as well as my guardian!!!! Why are these nurses not attempting to comprehend

Problem only at their sacksie hospital .was there last evening and only one ER dDr on duty. Was same that placed on a discharge paper that was only there for pain medication in January. A complaint was filed at the beginning of February with no response back. ER Dr listened to complaint and denied what was on the papers that we had. Stepped out and said he would bein a moment. He never came back. A little over 20 minutes and we left and went to another ER. Head injury, blood thinners and it was more important to leave and not come back or state a reason. Will rist death before ever using this hospital ever again.

Just came out of emergency room, pregnant with COVID. Went because I had have fever up to 101, they never checked on the baby to make sure it was ok, I had to ask them to. They did an X-ray to make sure i didn’t have pneumonia they discharged me without telling absolutely nothing. While they were taking my vitals the nurse doing a million other things except making sure I was ok. They discharge me without telling me results of X-rays or what to do, the doctor never came to tell me absolutely nothing. Terrible and of course they bill me for doing nothing. Medical city Plano

We called for the 24 kids line about an hour ago. Our 10 month old fell and we were quite concerned about him having a concussion. The RN who handled our call was so calming and informative. She gave us symptoms to look out for within certain time frames and some other great advice. I am very thankful for her and I wish I could remember her name to thank her personally.

Medical City ER Dallas sent my daughter home with a compound fracture that required a plate and screws with the advice of take Tylenol. And sorry, we ran out of slings. This is after leaving her in a chair in the hallway for hours. She ended up having an extensive surgery 10 days later after being seen by 2 additional doctors. A year later we get a call from collections because they sent the bill to the wrong address and did not bother to call or email even though they had the right address on all the paperwork and the ids.

Was sent away from medical city allience after they checked my ears n throat. I was given 3 scripts as i stumbled out of the ER sick and in pain but I had No Insurance and NO job so they just dismissed me. Three days later sicker then i have ever been, the ambulance took me to Medical City Healthcare where Alana Snyder (Physician) and the staff took very good care of me and made sure I was well enough to even go home. GUESS WHAT? They knew i had no insurance and no job and still they took the time to care for me. So "Shame on medical city alliance" and Thank You to Medical City Healthcare. I am still sick but feeling alittle better every day!

Nurse Practitioner Marisol Anderson is so professional, she is great at her job and will not make you feel like a “dumb parent” . She is so genuine and able to articulate and explain to where no matter how frustrated you are - she made my trip here so smooth and I left feeling happy overall with my visit .
