I cannot recommend Scott Baroway at Mediation Partners enough. It was my intention to have as amicable divorce as possible, yet I still wanted to make sure that my interests were represented and finances protected. I had no interest in a costly divorce but covered all bases by talking to multiple attorneys just to make sure I made the best possible choice (we would be delighted to represent you, let's start with a $7K retainer). I kept reiterating that we would probably be amicable during negotiations (well, you never know how these things can go so we won't even represent you without that $7K retainer. If there is any part of that left over at the end we will refund you...... uh-huh, right). I kept searching and I am so glad I did. I came across Mediation Partners through an article on options for how to get divorced. I emailed Scott and we talked the next day. His background as a divorce attorney, judge and mediator was very appealing. He knows it all. He spoke to me, and later I recommended that my ex call Scott to see if he thought this was a route we could take and we both agreed Mediation Partners was for us. Scott's approach in our meetings was totally professional, unbiased, with an explanation of each step clearly laid out with next steps. We had a few areas where he helped us see all options on the table and then would wait for us to figure out what we were willing to concede on either side. I was able to walk out of a marriage and life of 21 years with confidence that everything was negotiated fairly. It was not traumatic in any way and my new life was able to start with grace and ease soon after all the paperwork was completed. Scott was brilliant and the service he provides is so appreciated. I feel so grateful to have found him.
