I highly recommend that anyone looking at the SSDI process for themselves or a family member bring Mr. Martin and his team on board early in the process.

The SSDI process is quite complicated and takes a lot of time, so I was amazed to learn that there were no up-front fees, and the government caps the total amount of fees. This means anyone can afford to hire an attorney to help them with this process. (I learned this only after submitting piles of paperwork twice on my own and having my husband's Parkinson's Disease disability claim denied.) I had managed to secure a hearing on my own, but had no confidence I could present the relevant information in a way that would let the judge easily understand the disabilities my husband was dealing with at this stage.

From my first call Ms. Higuera made me very comfortable they were exactly the right firm to help. She let me bombard her with emails full of PDFs from my husband's medical records, and (somehow) they organized it logically into a dozen exhibits.

While Mr. Martin expressed confidence that we had an excellent case, he also kept our expectations very realistic during the process—sometimes the judge doesn’t see a case the same way as the claimant. The incredible value provided by Mr. Martin and his expert staff was clear when my husband's hearing started. The judge had been able to review the prepared exhibits and could see from Mr. Martin's presentation that my husband had suffered significant disability as the disease had progressed. The hearing was very well run, and full of relevant questions that drilled further down into the facts of our situation.

(BTW, as a caregiver, it was a huge relief to hand this responsibility over to an expert team. Whatever the outcome, I knew I would feel I'd done my best for my husband by hiring this team.)

As it turned out, that great experience yielded an ideal outcome for us. I strongly recommend Martin Esquire & Associates to anyone needing help with their social security disability claim.

Office manager lied to me and told me that the insurance company would only pay for injuries if I had at least $1500 of car damage. This office refused to continue my treatment and told me that I would be responsible for medical bills if they couldn't win the case. This is the worst attorney ever.
