Bought my home in 2005. We don't live in a HOA that is needed of us to follow the things that are asked of homeowners to do. One is keep up with the weeds in your lawn. I'm sorry am I missing something? We live in Florida where it's hot as get out! Everything is burned up or ruined from the hot sun. When buying a home in this Neighborhood we are not giving a booklet, pamphlet, or any such with codes that are to be followed. Someone explain this?

This is the worst city in Broward. Code Compliance Officer Prophete Valbrun is on a power trip! He questioned my citizenship, he tried to give me another citation for something meaningless and asked if I can also clean the neighbors gate! I called his supervisor Joseph Scimeca eight days ago and never got a call back! We have to get these people fired! They decided to do all of this during the holidays! We need to put the proper people in charge in this city. Ones that's for the people, not against the people. I forgot to mention that he was mad because I didn't answer when he called! He pulled up and seen me pressure washing my fence and still mentioned that I had to pick up!

They are absolutely terrible, unreasonable, unnecessarily slow, and way too letter-of-the-law, refusing to take into consideration extenuating or just plain human circumstances. No human touch or decency.

They enforce stupid codes if your housye not clean by a Haitian so called officer saying "clean walls and paint windows, there is NO such things painting windows!!!

We had to fight it with the magistrate they started giving excuses because I've tried a million times to call them for inspection (they charge 200 for inspection) They are just forcing me to go to their "champion website" many homeowners are fed up with them.
