I just want to say that Mrs Hemingway has been one the best public defender for my son...and the staff are friendly any information u need they informed you. The judge I didnt like how he took care of some of the cases. My son case is mental case and I think he shouldnt never been incarcerated he souldve been hospitalized. Because he has records from hospitals about his mental illness...because my son was in osbourn correction and i end up taking him the same day they release him to HH and he was admited. Osbourn correction didnt help my son. He came out worst😢

The clerks office is no help.. I came in on Tuesday to try to fix my DMV ticket case.. told me I would have to come back pay $60 to open the case and go In front of someone.. well here I am Friday. 3 days from last time.. I was told my case closed yesterday ( Thursday) ... why didn’t anyone tell me I asked for information and all they could give me was pay and come back.. didn’t even look my name up in the system.. not only did you take my money, but with hold information that could have benefited me and the court if I was told to come in on Thursday.. the only positive experience was the State attorneys office was more helpful then anyone in the building. I don’t know how to reach a supervisor, but I would like someone to read this and give everyone a clue on how to do their jobs.

They never help with anything just give you the run around until you go to the state attorney office but they said I had speak to my state attorney n then stand Infront of the judge n I never had to just to talk to the state attorney that’s it n I went home Smfh
