I have dealt with other clients before where they neglected my case and I had to keep reminding them to do thier job, however Luis and his team were always in top of things and they would always keep me updated. I would honestly say this is the worst experience I’ve ever had and I was just going ahead and talking to the lawyer for a consultation. The miscommunication and unprofessionalism from his office is astonishing to be the least. We tried booking a consultation with Luis Ruiz Law earlier this week and a lady that my sister and mom spoke to told them about an opening on Friday at 3. She said that the consultation was $80 and that she would put them down for that time. Everything was great with the interaction with the lady but when Friday came around and my mom and I got there we called to ask the building number to confirm if we were at the right place but a man answered and instead of giving us the building number he asked if we had an appointment when we proceeded to say yes and he answered that we didn’t and kept going on about how we wouldn’t be helped which confused us because the lady that assisted was super friendly and from what the man said gave us the wrong information which was the at we needed to pay before hand and get a confirmation email. Which fine there wasn’t anything else we could do so we proceeded to ask another availability which is when this gentleman said there was nothing available for us and that they wouldn’t be assisting us for a consultation. We needed up finding the office and waited outside until my sister got there and called and the lady answered which she sounded friendly and said that she’d call someone to see if they could assist us the second time she called because it was 3:20ish and our appointment was at 3 and we were patiently waiting outside the locked office door and the gentleman that helped my mom and I started speaking to my sister and asked her if she could provide and email address so he can send her an email and that someone should be assisting us but neither of those things happened at all. It’s very disappointing knowing that we had to leave early from work and rearrange our schedule for people who were first very rude and inconsiderate of other peoples time and schedule. If anyone sees this I do highly recommend getting another lawyer for any immigration needs.

Update: I think this is still sad that we keep going back and forth even though we are not a client. This is exactly how it was over the phone and more aggressive. There WAS miscommunication between the person answering the phone and my mother and sister because they did say there was availability Friday so with the team building activity being on the same day and one of your team members still saying there was space for a consultation was not our fault, us not EVER receiving either emails that were supposed to be sent is not our fault, being assumed that we were not going to pay is an assumption you are having on us and even though I do not agree with this assumption you do and hopefully people are able to see that your judgment and assumption is what matters to you and you business. Although your explanation is not exactly what happened or not thorough enough because when they asked if my mom paid she said she was going to pay and then proceeded to explain that they were NOT aware that you needed payment before hand due to not getting this information. We proceeded to say that if we were notified we would have done that and that my sister should have been sent an email due to your procedures which they never did because we checked out spam inbox and every other inbox so even then there was absolutely no way for us to pay before hand because there was absolutely NO EMAIL SENT THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUPPOSEDLY SENT BY YOUR EMPLOYEES DUE TO THE PROCESSES/RULES YOU HAVE IN PLACE THAT YOU DO NOT FOLLOW OR MAKE SURE THEY ARE DONE PROPERLY. Apart from that I am tired of going back and forth with you and your business for inaccurately describe what happened and putting your narrative. Overall I hope you the best and hope that you implement all your rules and make sure all your employees know the procedures and that they send the emails needed to confirm.

I could literally write a book of how wonderful of an attorney Luis is. He was able to get me a permit with in days of my grandmothers passing. I was extremely close to her and I feared this day would come and not be able to attend her burial in Mexico. Luis moved so fast I was able to travel to
Mexico on advance parole. The day of my appointment I was so nervous but Luis prepared all the documents so well the immigration officer granted the permit the same day. I highly recommend him, he will be honest and tell you things exactly how they are based on the laws and your situation. The peace of mind you will have with your case in hands will be worth every dollar. Don’t waste your time or money going to attorneys who won’t have your best interest like Luis will do !
