Losing my mother was one of the most difficult experiences of my life, but Windsor Locks Funeral home provided me with an abundance of comfort, guidance, and support every step of the way. From the moment I walked through their doors, I never felt like I was alone. Karen provided me with compassion, kindness and genuine care. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was handled with professionalism and respect, allowing me and my family the space to grieve without the added stress of trying to know what to do or anticipate what was coming next.Holly even met me at the house to help me pick out a dress and jewelry for my mom to wear in her eternal rest.

The staff at Windsor Locks Funeral home provided us with ample sources from which to choose all the necessary items to make the service beautiful. They listened to our wishes, suggested outside vendors for flowers and a reception, set up photos in my mother’s memory beautifully, and treated us with warmth and understanding. Their attention to detail, from the care and preparation of my mom to the set-up of the room for the services was impeccable.

Since her service, I have thought about how extremely happy I was with Windsor Locks Funeral Home and I cannot express enough gratitude for each staff member, especially Karen and Holly. In a time of profound sorrow, they made a difficult process feel a little more bearable, and for that, I will always be thankful. If you are looking for a funeral home that truly cares, I wholeheartedly recommend them; you will not be disappointed!
