I am shocked by the negative reviews here… I hired Attorney Thorn to represent me after wasting a ton of money on another attorney with zero movement in my case. Jennifer jumped right into my case with both feet and got more accomplished in her first week than the previous attorney did in 4 months. I needed someone in my corner fighting for me and Jennifer came in with guns blazing! Attorney Thorn’s expertise and drive was worth every single penny. My only regret is that I didn’t hire her sooner. I also worked with her assistant Erica throughout my case and she was also incredibly helpful and responded to all of my questions and needs timely. Attorney Thorn and her team were exceptional and I would absolutely hire her again.

That’s entirely reasonable, given the level of dedication and knowledge she brings to her clients. Ann’s work is worth every penny.

Ann was always professional and attentive when I reached out with thoughtful concerns. Her responses were clear, timely, and focused on moving the case forward. Communication was purposeful and productive, which made me feel heard and confident in the process.

While Ann was my lawyer, I also had an emergency question when she wasn’t available. Jennifer A. Thorn kindly stepped in to assist me over the phone and was attentive, helpful, and professional.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this law firm. If you want someone who will take your case seriously, fight for your best interests, and provide top-notch representation, I wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again.

I worked with Attorney Ann Dargie for over two years. While I understand that family court is an incredibly complex and emotional area with many moving parts, I ultimately found that her representation was not as helpful as I had hoped. I have hired Attorney Jennifer Thorn in the past and she didn’t really do much for me plus someone else signed my name on a document for Atty Thorn to withdraw from my case. And the court allowed it without me being present and discussing it with the attorney.

I have dealt with attorney Thorn representing my ex-wife on 3 occasions since 2011. She has a nasty, rude, and completely unprofessional demeanor, with no interest in actually resolving the issue. This last round of litigation took 39 months (8 month track!) and after a trial, she requested the Judge review his decision again when it didn't go her way. Then, when that review didn't go her way, she asked for a SECOND review. That review was DENIED. My ex paid over $25k for this action, and received a $10k award.
Make it make sense! At some point, a credible attorney would ask their client "what is your end game here?", and advise them accordingly. Not Jennifer Thorn. She had a client on the hook who would just keep putting coin in the juke box, even though the music had clearly stopped playing. The most amusing part of all is this...l offered $15k to settle before the trial. I thoroughly enjoyed being a
"thorn" in Jennifer's side. If you want an attorney who will keep fighting... and especially billing, even when she's losing, Jennifer Thorn is the one for you!

She doesn’t care about her clients and she was unprofessional and rude. Four stars are due to limited interaction, but helpful. What some may call rude, others may find refreshing level of candor and directness. My brief consultation with Attorney Thorn led me to believe that she is very sharp, knows how to narrow in on what matters, but she will not sugar coat it for you. What I've been told about her from other attorneys is that if you are facing a ruthless and maniacal other party's counsel, and find yourself out gunned, JAT is the person to hire. And I wish I had.
