Benjamin Okin isn’t your typical attorney. When I called, his assistant gave me a number to text him when he was on vacation, and he made time to talk to me the next day. Contrast this to my other inquiries in Humboldt County in which a receptionist asked me many questions and either referred me to a website or called me several days later to decline my situation. Benjamin communicates with compassion, knowledge and clear questions. He responded to every text we exchanged with a ‘thumbs up’ and even asked me to follow-up if I didn’t hear from him within the week. I’ve gotten some pretty bad tickets and attorneys I hired in the past took my money and ran me through the bill. I question if they did anything. I had the exact opposite experience with Benjamin. I contacted Benjamin's Law office and was responded to within an hour and he was very compassionate, and went through everything, while explaining the different possibilities as far as outcomes to me.
