I am so grateful to have met Shawn Leuthold, not only is he a highly effective and intelligent business attorney who can handle complex negotiations, but he is one of the most decent and honest people I have ever met. I was in the position of ending a decades long marriage with a long separation, and as the wife of a company owner who had plenty of legal and consulting assistance, I felt rather helpless. At the same time, I was not after an acrimonious divorce, which I seemed headed for with most of the attorneys I interviewed.

Shawn guided me through an extremely complex dissolution involving not only the unforeseen purchase of the company with international obligations and complex taxes, but also the heart wrenching and sudden sale of the family home due to loans and outstanding company debts. He also oversaw the equitable division of company stock and resulting future payouts. Shawn defended both my interests and indirectly, my husband's interests, during the contentious acquisition and he successfully and calmly navigated a disagreement with a Korean company that was about to go wrong, while always having my back. The money he saved us during these negotiations probably ended up covering a large portion of his fees.

If you want your case settled you don't want this lawyer. He does everything in his power to keep cases going so he can bill hours. Case in point. I submitted a global settlement offer to him August 2, 2015. He never responded in 8 weeks. But he billed over $10,000 to the divorce. He has been admonished in courts by judges for his unprofessionalism in failing to return phone calls and emails on a timely basis. He is one of the most dishonest and unethical people I have met in my life. He should disbarred for practicing law.
