He is a personable person first and lawyer second. The Law Office of Richard Schechter PC is an outstanding business. Richard Schechter does his very best to meet the needs of his clients and his coworkers. He is patient and thorough when it comes to listening to concerns, he cares about the human element of the cases that he represents. He has always been a voice of sound advice from the very first day I met him over almost fifteen years ago. He does not prepare for his clients in a hurried manner; his firm takes the time to build relationships with the client, research the cases, and take every detail into account for the benefit of the client. Cases are not won in a day and rarely are they easy to research. The entire staff strives to make sure that everything they do is done with the highest respect for the client, the case, and the law.
Mr. Schechter is a great lawyer, but he is also an extremely committed and faithful servant to his community. A lot of lawyers are out for the bottom line at the end of the day, but not him. From 2016 to 2018, I worked with Richard in a rather large lawsuit. Through countless meetings, emails, and phone calls, Richard helped me through one of the hardest times of my life. He was always very professional and I knew he was working his hardest for a positive outcome in my favor. Since I am not located in Houston, Richard would frequently commute in order for us to meet and talk logistics. During these meetings he would make sure I was fully up to date with everything that was happening in my case so I never felt like I was in the dark. If I were to ever need an attorney again, I would trust no one else but Richard.

This man just called my friend and was very rude. I would NOT recommend him to anyone.
