No one enters a law office in high spirits, but in my particular situation the unknown made feel doomed.
My experience with John was absolutely great and he helped ease my mind. I felt he was quick to the point and very clear with different outcomes for my scenario and he had a plan that made sense. I never once felt like I had spent too much money, nor that I was being taken advantage of in an already bad situation. My boyfriend retained John Hughes for his custody hearing as limited scope representation. John went above and beyond spending time making certain my bf knew what was to be expected. With children involved, it truly creates an enormous about of added stress and anxiety. John had the best interest of the children in mind the whole time! Should there be more hearings in the future- he will be most definitely the family law attorney we will go with!

Do not mistake confidence for arrogance! John is confident. If you want confidence and realistic advice, hire John. Why would anyone want a mealy mouse attorney?

We averted court with John's excellent negotiation with opposing parties, and in pre-trial conferences before judges. John has the perfect combination of practical and technical counsel. My boyfriend hired Mr. Hughes, who met with him within a day. Mr. Hughes spent a great deal of time with my boyfriend to understand the magnitude of the sitution, was very thorough, and went to work on my boyfriend's defense immediately. My boyfriend stated, "Mr. Hughes's genuinely cares about his clients."

Very negligent and uneducated on the laws in his surrounding counties. Hired him for a family law issue. Spent 15gs and wasnt even able to get a court date. In his billing log he will try and charge you thousand dollars for writing an email of no importance. Bill's you for gossip he likes to talk about his current and former clients..called me on a fluke after paying him ofcourse to tell me he cant even open videos on the computer stating "he is old and technology challenged." Then later called and said he needed time off because he was busy getting in physical altercations at the Carl's Jr. With there employees at the drive thru line. Had the time and ability to send me pictures of the fight.Will state how much he cares. But his actions will quickly show he only wants his money. One of the most incompetent and untrustworthy lawyers I seen in my experience.
