Jackie is a smooth operator. When you hire him, you have to trust that he will do his job. Communication varies of course as all lawyers do. Some just charge and fortunately Jackie doesn’t. So I would advise grace and patience regarding that. I was facing 3rd degree felony charges and Jackie worked to the very end to get them dismissed. My case was a little complicated but easy. We were trying to remove my niece from CPS custody. He went above and beyond to take our case because sometimes CPS cases can be a lot of hoops to jump through but it was super quick. Then we were able to get a TRO against the parents and temporary custody and now I have sole guardianship and he has now started the process for adoption for us. He has always been available even after hours if needed and worked with my schedule too. He responds quickly to emails and messages. I had gotten into an accident, and was later arrested for a Felony DWI. The Prosecutor was not willing to listen to the story and realize there really wasn't an accident, and my only offer was going to be prison time. I was so scared thinking that I was going to be going away for a number of years. I hired Jackie to represent me, and we went to multiple hearings over the course of several months. I was always so nervous sitting there and watching Jackie talk to the prosecutors.
