Worst attorney quite possible, just a money hungry man. Who did nothing except sit back and try to wait out the case as long as possible to make more money. I would never go here ever again. I highly recommend Benjamin Deguire, Family Law Attorney in Flagstaff, AZ. Ben was the top reference I was given through my friends and family who practice Law in Arizona. With that, I was not shocked to learn that Ben was completely booked when I reached out to him last year, but he agreed to meet with me over the phone to assess the complexity of my Divorce case and feel me out as a prospective client. Fortunately, he agreed to take me on. Ben is an expert on Family Law and also very familiar with the Judges’ tendencies, and well connected with the other family law attorneys in town. This positions him to give sound advice on probable outcomes of settling outside of court vs. in trial. Communication is key when you’re navigating something as stressful, complex and high stakes as Divorce. Ben welcomes questions and input. He was able to pull my input into a strategy with my best interest and outcomes in mind. He tackled each category of the divorce decree one at a time, approaching the cleanest, simplest issues first. This set a nice tone for negotiating the more difficult issues later. Ultimately, we were able to settle outside of court through a combination of a Settlement Lite conference and a Judicial Settlement Conference. I can’t say enough good things about Ben and his wife, Liz. They were wonderful to work with and very relatable on the emotional aspects of divorce and divorce with children.

I have unfortunately had to use several lawyers over the years. My ex and I were the poster children for bad divorces. Benjamin is by far the best lawyer I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and very personable.

My situation was extremely dramatic. My ex was refusing to follow our decree and would not communicate with me or let me see my son. You name it we went through it. Cops, contempt, the whole nine yards. Benjamin was able to get my issues addressed in a very timely manner and was able to get me more time with my child.

I had been blindsided by legal filings from my ex-husband regarding our child’s custody, which was a horrifying experience. I sought help last year absolutely terrified, and Ben took me on as a client. It was a long, painstaking process that included mediation, depositions, and ultimately ended in Ben defending me in a court trial that ended in my favor. At many times during the legal process, I was intimidated by the aggressive other side. Luckily, Ben was cool, confident, and knowledgeable every step of the way. Ben Deguire was our mediator for our divorce. He was unbiased and professional, and was able to answer all of our questions about the law in a way that really helped with the mediation process. His space was comfortable and inviting. We worked together to create the property division plan and parenting plan in real time using a monitor that we could all see. This was a huge help.
