This review took me longer to write than what I would have liked. However, after a yearlong contract disagreement, I needed a moment to appreciate putting this situation behind me. Now that it’s over; I would be remised not to share my experience with whomever I can about the Kohl and Cook law firm. Most people have no plans of suing anyone. I merely sought to do business with a company with the expectation of our dealings ending in a positive outcome. When that didn’t happen, and a resolution was beyond my control, I looked for attorneys locally in Cincinnati who would help. Upon a series of unreturned phone calls, attorneys who weren’t interested in my case, or who didn’t have the capacity to take on new clients, I began looking outside of Cincinnati. That’s how I stumbled across the best legal team I could have asked for! Tim Cook is easy to talk with, very forthright about expectations, (and not that it means much) has a great sense of humor. It was nice having that kind of personality to work with on the journey I embarked upon. There were things beyond our control that happened during this case, but having Tim Cook, Andy Gerling – who is an incredible attorney as well, and Cole Stemmer work to get my family and I the best results has meant so much. Cole did an enormous amount of work and kept me updated at every turn. Tim’s legal staff were all professional and were too part of my positive experience with the firm. In transparency, yes, I’m happy this is over. But also, oddly somber that this team of people and I won’t have a reason to communicate anymore.

I was at risk of losing our home. It would have been easier probably to let it go. We are raising 2 granddaughters and I was desperate. I was losing hope. However, I was referred to Tim Cook by another attorney and spoke at length about my complicated situation and he took our case. He never gave us false hope but instead was truthful and stayed upbeat. He kept us updated all along the way. He was able to help us keep our house and also to get some of our fees back.
