Reviews of Kern Eviction
John Silven
They made my eviction so easy, all I had to do was give them my case info and come back in to sign the papers every so often. Jacob and Stephanie were both very understanding and helped me do everything by the book.

The team at Kern Eviction seems to have a solid understanding of local and state eviction laws, which is essential for ensuring compliance and avoiding potential legal pitfalls. This expertise can be a significant advantage for clients who may not be familiar with the legal process.

They were very slow in filing paperwork, serving notices and following through on anything. I was told it would be easy and quick but at every step they told me it was a process and I needed to be patient. When I did the process myself in past cases it took 4-6 weeks to get to a court date. They took four months and still were not finished before the show cause hearing. My case was passed off to at least five different people. So I had to go over it with a new person every time I went in, who usually gave me different information or said that they would leave a message for the person handling my case, but then nothing would be passed on. I went in dozens of time and was told conflicting information or flat out wrong information. They told me that they would call the Sheriff to escort the tenant out as soon as the deadline passed. I went in two days before the deadline to pay for and start the process for the sheriff lockout, like I had done during the initial response phase, which I had been told then would be a matter of days to complete. They said they needed to wait until the official deadline to start the process but just call and they will take payment over the phone and start get it done immediately. I called to confirm that the deadline had passed and after twenty minutes of looking for my case, they said all they could do was schedule a time for me to go in to their office and "discuss next steps" several days later. They said it would be a few weeks before that was completed and I needed to be patient. I questioned the conflicting information. They said I was being rude and hung up on me.
UPDATE: It has been 9 months since I approached Kern Eviction to start this case, 8 months since Unlawful Detainer was filed. 5 months since the service was completed to get a court date, 4 since an agreement was made at the court date with the mediator stating that the eviction would be scheduled for 45 days later, the sheriff would be there at at 5pm on the scheduled day, but Kern Evictions did not file the paperwork because when I went back to ask why the sheriff did not arrive, Kern evictions demanded more money to file the paperwork that should have been filed the day of the court date. It has now been almost two months since the date the tenant was supposed to be out, and he is still not out. The sheriff department say they cannot tell me if the paperwork for the eviction, (which should have been filed
four months ago and I paid again to have it filed two months ago), has even been filed. They say to call the lawyer. The Lawyer said they need to call Glenda to see what happened. Glenda told them that she had been unable to file it due to the Sheriff's office not accepting Writs due to a move. But the Sheriff's department said they were only closed for one week, and a Writ filed two months ago would have been completed long before the move.
As of right now, the writ which should have been filed four months ago for an eviction process started nine months ago, still has not been filed, and according to the sheriff's department will take several more weeks to be completed once it is.

My parents used a different eviction service and it was a disaster. 4 months later they went to Kern eviction. Kernovician had everything straightened out in just a few days and the eviction finally went forward. I just wish we would have went to them first.
