The staff at the Guilford location go above and beyond for every request. They are always a pleasure to work with. The eye doctor does a fantastic job as well, and I never have any issues with prescriptions or contact fit. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just purchased 3 pairs of glasses at K&P. I have never seen such a large number of frames to choose from. They have a large collection of designer and brand names to satisfy any taste. The staff of opticians is very professional and meticulous in their work to assure perfect and comfortable frame adjustment. We requested a fast turnaround because of travel and they delivered in plenty of time! The lab work was perfect. A very satisfying experience!

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences over the last few years with the staff, from the exam room to the display room... they take my vision insurance, have always provided me excellent service and care, and typically have a nice assortment of frames as well.
I've used several other opticians prior to Kennedy & Perkins. I walked into their Guilford branch several years ago to look at frames and ended up purchasing a pair. Since then, I've used them exclusively for all of my frames/lenses, contacts, and yearly check-ups. Even had an eye injury several months ago and they were able to get me in quickly and treated (during the COVID pandemic). Just went in for an eye exam and new contacts, for which I got a fair price for a year's supply, and were ordered and ready in just a few days.
One last note I'll make is specifically in regards to their service. I still have/wear the first pair of glasses I purchased from them, which I love, partly because I treat them with care, but I've also had them adjusted several times at the store (and they've done a great job every time!). Glasses aren't cheap, and it's nice to know that if I have any issues with frames I've purchased from them both me and my frames will be well cared for.

K&P recently provided me with two pairs of glasses from a new prescription that came from another provider. It turns out that the new prescription was too strong and the glasses were blurry. MacKenzie at K&P ordered me new lenses at no charge even though they were not at fault. I was very impressed with her professionalism and grateful that there were no additional charges.

This is a good store, but as indicated by the owner's comments below, I had some initial problems. I had an existing pair of glasses from another optician in another region, and they mismatched a replacement temple to the color of my frames. This has been addressed. The eye doctor did a good job, and they have an excellent technician - one of the few to get the nose pads of my glasses adjusted just perfectly. However, since they have six stores and their best technician works in various places to accommodate customers, their best support for repairs is not always available in Guilford, which has led to some frustration during some problems with a broken bridge in my frames. This also led to some miscommunication via the other staff. For all new lenses and frame or replacement lenses for existing frames, chances are you'll do just fine. They do carry very high quality merchandise and have a very good selection, as well as very attractive space. It feels very professional, and most of the time it is professional, I just wish that they had more frequent on-site service support for the "tough stuff", since both my prescription and my frames can be pretty tough to service.

My daughters eyes had been bothering her & they got her an appointment immediately. It was her first time getting her eyes examined & she had a great experience. My husband & I go there every year. The staff is very friendly.
