Kathleen Talbott is a great lawyer to work with. She helped me and my husband out of a tough financial situation, getting the job done quickly and with minimal stress. She was very understanding of our personal situation and knowledgeable about the bankruptcy process, answering any questions we had promptly and always explaining what was going on. have paid Kathleen talbott $1500 to file petition of paternity, as well as custody for my two kids, she files the petition and get my kids mother served.. I decide not to make it any harder for the mother of my kids, and ask for a refund because I wanted out of the fight before it even started, Ms Talbott replied I’ll leave it open in case you change your mind, I reply I don’t want to change my mind I just want out and a refund, she tells me give her a couple days to figure it out, I call the 2nd day, her assistant assured me the case is on hold, and Kathleen will contact me asap, emails me around 4pm right before closing. Stating I’m. It entitled to a refund, not only was there no were in the office or during any conversation was that told to me, I continue to email her trying to get it figured out, no reply, call her the third day, she answers “look dude, I already filed the petition which is half the work” I reply fine let’s just move forward with petition of paternity only since she only charges 1500, and that’s what I’ve paid her, she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t like my tone, a mild tone to say the least, as if I wouldn’t be frustrated that she’s basically robbing me of 1500 dollars, I reply and try to explain how my tone hasn’t changed a bit since the first time we spoke, she tells me she’s been in the hospital and I tell her that’s the same exact thing I’ve been hearing from her assistant every time I call, she replies are u calling me a liar, I said not one time did that come out out my mouth, she THEN replies You’re calling me a liar and hangs up in my face.. I’m in the process of writing a complaint to the better business bureau as was filing legal action against the firm and advise ANYBODY inquiring or heard of her to NOT deal with her, not only does she not want to refund me, she now doesn’t even want to finish the job!

She is the BEST!! I highly recommend this woman, she is all about getting the job done and on top of everything. It really shows that she is passionate on what she does and she has always got back me , when I had any questions about anything.
