This cozy, historic bar exudes a welcoming and lively atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to wrap up your day and kick off the night. The menu offers satisfying bar bites, the staff are fantastic, and the crowd consists mostly of coupled-up New Yorkers channeling their inner fashionista—though many might not catch the Sex and the City reference. Regardless, the energy is unmistakably on point.

The place is nice however the service is awful. It seemed like the bartender didnt want to serve us so he gave us to another another who was not accomodating at all. We did not finish our drinks as it didnt meet our expectation. One of our drinks was margarita and he did not even try to mix it on his shaker. He just pour it directly to the glass which was disappointing. We moved to a different bar which was fun.

The owner Helen is such a gem - thank you for supporting and fostering such an inclusive, safe, and welcoming community. Knowing your bar exists gives me peace during an increasingly scary time. Thank you for all you do.

Also, CLEANEST bar bathroom ever, and the staff is so kind and respectful. 12/10!

The oldest gay bar in NYC and the most friendly and welcoming. Food is better than you'd imagine... We have dinner at the bar about once a week.

Every burger comes with a side of pride and history. Love this place. 🫶. So glad it’s been a slate-wart(hate that word). The drinks are good. Reasonably priced (all things relative) and they make a mean burger. If you go at prime time it will be packed so place ur food order early! And try and belly up at the bar. That is where you get to see all the action take place

They attend you quickly, it is an ancient gay bar, this bar has his history. The hamburguer and the chef was good, like really good, I take out the onion because it is not cooked, but the hamburguer and the natural fries are good. They charge you for the pickles 😅 take a note for that.
The gay beer was refreshing and neat. I recommend it.
You found locals from the area and pretty handsome people around.
I would love to come back.
