Jodie is not someone you would want on your side she biases her clients as far as hair color and my friend was going for a paid internship she seen her demeanor and respectfully declined. She said it's my duty to call her on my children service case as I did and she failed to get back to me me and my counselor went and met with her and after that she didn't confirm or contact me. I called her office several times. She proceeds to tell magistrate Karen I have not tried to contact her and I corrected her stating I did. I was informed that she would no longer be my attorney because she's pursuing something different in her career. I'm fed up with her and richland county and judge Karen. They all are together. They stole my kids off allegations and I have receipts and proof of parenting classes drug and alcohol screening every 2 weeks and mental health.

I was appointed Ms. Dees through Richland County. After 2 cancelled appointments and an obvious lack of interest in my case I walked into court feeling less and less confident each time. She was rude, unprofessional, unprepared, and uninterested. Another public defender working for the prosecutor. Am only awarding 1 star because 1/2 a star is not possible.
Edited: one charge was not dismissed. Plea was not honored and suspended jail time was maxed. Mitigation was basically myself. You were arguing about my treatment medication after the fact trying to further imply my guilt the day of. Again, thanks for nothing ma'am! 🙄

Attorney Jodie Dees and her staff are amazing! Unfortunately, I needed her service for a case for my son. All charges were subsequently dropped, but it was due in part to how well she communicated with the prosecutors office.
