The best family attorney in Kentucky, hands down knows her knowledge. Is able to use her skills and abilities to set you off to a great pace from the moment you walk in to the moment you are in the court room, if it makes it that far.. Run…don’t walk!
If you need serious representation for legal matters regarding Grandparental rights when your grandchild becomes endangered over their parents poor choices. Please do NOT count on this attorney to represent your hope to protect your grandchild. The legal representation that I paid for better represented the status quo in power more than my concerns. Do not count on critical case questions bring answered because she is not on your side but that of the status quo in power over the case including social services, other legal reps and the judge. She will take your money run out the clock then quit you leaving you in a lurch with further motions to file.
Unfortunately the attorney was absent due to personal health matters and the office staff members were incompetent and deliberately rude and did not pass along critical messages which resulted in my not being able to enter the courtroom on court day because of the misinformation. I paid big money for nothing.
The one main question I had on the case, she refused to answer. Who, what, when and where and why a no contact order was imposed against me by the foster mother that still is in effect to this day almost a year later.
If you seriously need someone with fight in them, do not opt or bother. You will receive just a run of the ‘mill’ run around who represents the good ole girls club, goes along to get along and will quit rather than take you seriously. She couldn’t grasp the basics and refused to share crucial information because which decisions were based. She is on the side of corrupt state government officials not yours or your loved ones who suffer from their poor decisions and judgements. She’s in like Flynn with THEM.
You will be highly disappointed and you will walk away feeling that instead of working for you, you learn that you’ve hired an attorney who represents the interests of the corrupt division of local social services which exists a cozy first name basis relationship on top of a biased family court judge who was never apprised of the basic facts about the case and how social services determined that my granddaughter should be placed in foster care over family care.. Absolutely not one single basic protocol regarding ethics and standard operating procedure by the social workers on this case was followed. The whole scenario that they took for fact was completely absurd on its face. A total miscarriage of Justice and when I specifically asked WHY and on what basis this happened, the main question that I wanted answered by my legal counsel, I NEVER received after repeated requests for her to reveal the report written about me specifically by the social services representatives. Save your money because whatever you do, it will be a total waste of your time. There are no refunds no matter how little time and effort is spent on your case but then again I never asked or expected a refund. I was misrepresented, ill advised and left without any recourse with not one concern addressed or taken seriously. I would never seriously recommend her legal counsel to anyone because of incompetence, lack of interest, lack of comprehension of the core facts, lack of knowledge or case development, lack of trust, understanding and lack of positive mutual goals because being a part of the problem and not the solution resulted in a very negative outcome for both my granddaughter and myself. We have always had a very close loving relationship because before she could always count grandmas house as a place of refuge, love and belonging. How sad when the state government and their minions are so ignorant. As I’ve stated, I haven’t been able to see her in almost a year now which is unconscionable but happening for real because of the lack of legal representation that I had placed my confidence. The one innocent person in this whole case was my poor innocent granddaughter. If I could have given a lower rating, I would have. Color me not impressed.

Jennifer is fantastic. She is an advocate for her clients and works to ensure no matter what the circumstance that she works for her clients to the fullest. The paralegal staff is also great at being responsive to questions and concerns. They definitely helped calm my anxieties and worked hard for me. The best lawyer there is. She has helped us for a year try to fight for our child out of state. Very responsive and makes the painful process so much easier. She is impressive in court and very passionate about helping do the right thing. I highly recommend her to anyone having to use a lawyer.
