We hosted a bridal shower for my daughter in law with 32 guests. We had completely private room with a door which made set-up so easy. There is a big parking lot with plenty of parking. The staff are so warm and friendly! The brunch menu was superb, the buffet menu offered lots of choices. The service was impeccable. Clara was wonderful to work with, I sent her photos of a balloon arch that we wanted and it surpassed my expectations. Would highly recommend JLaw for any private party!

Came here to have dinner for my birthday and everything was FANTASTIC! Our waitress/bartender Lia was the absolute best. Very knowledgeable, attentive, quick and professional. She gave us so many good recommendations (especially her custom espresso martini). The craft drinks here are outstanding and they all have a distinct flavor I haven't tried before. I used to bartend, so I know what's out there, and it was refreshing to try interesting flavors that actually tasted amazing. The food was also incredible and came out quickly. Everything was perfect. The ambiance of the restaurant was also fantastic. The music playing was excellent and went along with the feel of the establishment. It was also very clean, and the employees seemed very organized and cheery.

It's a shame that I live down in Westchester County, otherwise this would easily become a regular spot for me. I highly recommend that you try it if you're looking for something interesting and new, with the flavors and customer service to back it up!

We threw a surprise party at J. Law’s Danbury location in their private room! I’ve had the best experience working with them to plan every detail and their communication was great, especially as I live 2 hours away! We loved the creative freedom the space welcomed!

Not only were the party room, drinks and food perfect for the cocktail party but my family had a great experience getting there early to make everything look perfect; balloons, signs, other decor and a disc ball speaker!

On top of that, our server, Derek, was one of the best servers we have ever seen! I got compliments from all guests about how great he was!! He would remember 8 drinks off the top of his head and serve them so quickly. He was so intuitive, kind and a great presence to have around!

Stopped by J law for some drinks and watch football nice bar area 2 big TVs. Me and the wife split a pizza that was very good. Will come back for dinner to try some more food.

Hosted a baby shower here for my sister and it was just delightful! The food was delicious and the staff were amazing - special shout-out to Clara for helping everything go so smoothly! I had heard of J. Lawrence when they had their Bethel location, but had never made it down there, so I was super excited to come check out their Danbury location after hearing such good things. I think it’s so awesome that they offer a separate gluten free menu as well. Their selection of craft cocktails and unique takes on American food were impressive. Some of our favorite items from the night were the chorizo pie and the potato smashers! Great vibe and love the beautiful murals on the wall. So many great weekly specials are offered in addition to their happy hour throughout the week! Our server was great, and we were impressed at how quickly all of the food came out. We plan to come back for brunch and can’t wait!

I saw an ad for this place somewhere so I decided to give it a go for an early dinner with my mom. It happened to be happy hour so we took full advantage. The happy hour prices were good, I tried the S’mores martini (which was delicious and so fun) and my mom had a draft beer.
We split the Beautiful Pie and the Beet Around the Bush salad. I bit into some pistachio shell that was in the salad which was annoying but overall it was fine. The pizza was also fine/good. This is nit picky but the prosciutto on it was cooked when we had assumed it would be fresh. But it was still good.
We split a Fire House Burger as a main. We thought it was strange when we ordered that the waitress did not ask us how we wanted it done but when it came we saw that it was actually two smash style burger patties. I like this style so I didn't mind but I think it should have been noted on the menu. The burger had a great charbroiled flavor though I barely tasted the cherry pepper aioli. The fries were super fresh and crispy.
Overall everything was pretty good but I felt nothing except the martini was really great. I would definitely go back for the happy hour specials or the Monday $20 pizza and drink deal but I don’t know if I would go back for a full price meal.
