I had an extremely positive experience today with Island Notary & Live Scan. I went for live scan fingerprinting for a new job. It was very quick and easy to get the service set up. Text Emi ahead of time and you will make it easier for yourself as she lets you know what to bring. The service was professional and thoughtful. Emi practices the best of standards in the COVID-19 era and made me feel very safe. She is clearly very experienced and will make sure you are getting what you need taken care of. I really appreciated her kindness as well and the conversation while getting fingerprinted. I will recommend to anyone and if I ever need these services again, I'll be supporting Island Notary & Live Scan. Support local!

Love this small business! Professional, prompt, affordable, amd available! I loved being able to text to schedule my appointment, and she made the notary and fingerprinting fun and social. I highly recommend! Have been to Island Notary many times and would go back again!!

I had a great experience at Island Notary, from getting info and pricing up front, booking the appointment, and the service itself. Emi is pleasant and efficient - she really knows her stuff! I had a fairly unusual set of documents that needed notarization and I got everything done quickly in a very convenient and comfortable location. Price was right, too. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for notary work after that experience. Great to have such a solid local resource. Thanks again!

Emi from Island Notary & Livescan was super helpful and did a great job helping me with the livescan process. She was able to schedule me right after I got off work and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything sorted out for my new job. The price was much lower than any of the other places I looked as well. Definitely going to use her services again.

I contacted Emi last minute and in need of a notary ASAP. I had tried the UPS store and a bunch of others in Alameda before landing on Island Notary. I was so grateful to Emi. She went out of her way to accommodate me and provided polite, professional, and prompt service. She was also very clear to communicate she required a face mask and to wash your hands before the notary. I thought that was so awesome! Payment was clear and easy. After the notary was complete I immediately received a receipt via email and text. I will totally be using them again for notary needs. 🙂

I have had LiveScan/fingerprinting through Island Notary & Live Scan before and have sought her out again and again. Most recently I was newly employed and needed fingerprinitng stat and Emi was available. Other places I've been were not as easy to get appointments. I've always called on Emi first since. We are under pandemic conditions, mind you, and Emi had wipes and sanitizer at the ready, and many forms of contactless payment. The office was well ventilated and we were done in a flash. Emi knows all the questions to ask, even if I wasn't so sure of the answer. She processed things immediately and I was notified by my employer that I was cleared faster than I have ever heard of. Thank you!

Additionally, I did not hesitate to tell my friend to go to Island Notary & Live Scan when she needed Notary services this summer, and she came all the way from San Leandro. Making an appointment was easy. We went together and came away very impressed with Emi's thoroughness and knowledge base. This time we met outdoors in the patio and aside from the availability of wipes and sanitizer, she also had clean pens for signing documents at the ready. We all wore masks and I felt very comfortable with the setup.

I am happy to support local, independent businesses and businesswomen who take pride in their work. Island Notary & Live Scan made it a snap to get my to-do list done. Island Notary has been awesome for all my notary needs. I have gone to Emi several times now and she has always made it convenient for me to get my documents notarized based on my schedule. Even now with Covid I had her notarize something for me and we met outdoors in her backyard, socially distanced and proper safety protocols. She is also very good and caught a mistake on one of the forms and fixed it immediately. Without her catching the mistake, I would have had to redo the whole process again. She is great!
