They provide me with photos and descriptions of any problem areas. Phil is able to explain which problems need immediate attention and which can safely wait. Most of all, I can attest that Import Specialists is an honest business that stands behind their work.

I'm writing this late..
A few months ago, I went to go have my a c checked because it was not working, it was warm, and it would cause my car to fog. They could not figure out the problem for about 2 weeks. They had to call in another mechanic. Which is understandable If you need a new pair of eyes, to take a look. My first price that was given was estimated at around $1300. I ended up having to pay more than $2000.
I told them that I really didn't want to go above that because i couldn't afford to go any higher, but they really thought that they could figure it out.. and wouldn't charge me past a certain amount, and I agreed. But it was more than what I thought. (My fault I should have seen that coming)
Just felt taken advantage of a little.
A few of the employees were nice, and the mechanics were friendly. As one came to talk to me, the man in the front basically told him to go away. And I am not sure why. But it was rude.
Now my a c is warm on the coldest setting. I'm not sure why. It's never been freezing, even after being fixed, but it was cooler for a few months, but it isn't now.
It's just expensive, and it took a while to get simi working, and I'd rather go somewhere else that won't charge that much.
As I will have to take it in again.

Phil was awesome, autozone sold me a part that was bunked and was not the brand it was suppose to be and come to find out it wasn't the correct one as it was smaller. I was able to get a new part under my warranty but a different brand he suggested, went back and they went ahead after they showed me the dofference between the 2 and put it in at no extra cost. The price for diagnostic is way cheaper than couple other places I call which wanted 2x the amount, I will be using their services for now on.
