First time dealing with a lawyer. As soon as he opened the door for our appointment he was holding his head complaining about a headache. Gave us about two minutes to BRIEFLY explain our claim, told us he couldn’t do anything for us. In our ~five~ minute meeting he complained about his sinus headache three times. Didn’t want to give us the time of day and basically told us to deal with the flooding on our property, that’s being directly caused by the city due to municipal negligence.

I called to ask about an appointment for POA. My father has dementia but is still competent enough to have asked me to do this. The lady that answered the phone told me that the attorney probably wouldn’t help me. She was very negative and actively discouraged me. I called another attorney right after and they agreed to help immediately. Don’t know who this is but she’s definitely not good for their business.

I feel very fortunate to have had Mrs. Hurst represent me in my divorce. She and her crack team (wassup, Kelly) are hyper efficient and do not play around. If you're in a dark place, in need of a champion (on earth), look no further.
