I'm tired of being harassed relentlessly by code enforcement. My job sent like 80 boxes to my house and I was accused of using my porch as storage. It was thrown out and taken care of and im still harrassed endlessly. I know they are trying to make us move out because Hialeah has a project to get rid of all of West Hialeah by 2050 to build Soviet style buildings and knock down millions of homes.

I just hung up with code enforcement at the number listed above in the Google search. I spoke with the lovely Amanda, (I do not know her personally and therefore I am unbiased), and she was not only very helpful, but she was polite, and took initiative to help me resolve my ongoing trespassing problem with the surrounding businesses. Yes, she did want to put me on "auto-hold" initially, but did answer some questions thus enticing me to WANT to hold and after a brief few minutes holding, she came back with both barrels blazing eager to assist and resolve my issues. She gave me concise information and a list of to-do's so that we may both follow-up from both ends of the matter. the only reason I did not give a 5-star rating is because the hold "music" remains non-existent to remind you that you are still on hold AND I was actually placed on hold.. For me a 5 star rating would have been to an encounter with NO hold time at all. but we can all recognize that every day cannot be Christmas.

UPDATE 04.13: The City cared about me and stood up on my behalf to protect my rights and find a resolve for this issue with the association. Rude and not helpfull i know and fully understand that rules and regulations ahould be enforeced but as a member of the comuniity i expect the city in wich i live in to care for its citizens and what to help make living here better.the code enforcer are very quick to write fines for dump thing that can easily be fixed if they would just give a fair warning but i guess the city needs to fine for easy fixes so their political digures can waste it. How about putting more traffic control signals so cars dont speed over 70 by my drive way.

They don’t answer the phone. A woman named Andrea has put me on hold for 30 minutes for about 3 hours. Something tells me these ladies are sipping cafecitos and avoiding work. Waste of taxpayer dollars
