Robert M Helfend is " the BEST CRIMINAL DEFENSE ATTORNEY IN CALIFORNIA!!! ". He is by far brilliant, bold , funny and a REAL PROFESSIONAL!!! I would recommend him to anyone, so don't waste your money on anyone else!!! He knows all the right people in the court system and he will fight for you to get you a better outcome.

I am so very grateful to Robert Helfend. I am a married woman in her mid forties that never had a record. A situation incurred where I made a very poor choice. I had a horrific car accident and had a friend in the passengers seat. Bottom line is that I was charged with a Felony DUI. This could have left me with a "strike" against me. I did not know what to do when a co-worker of mine recommended Robert to me. This man does not give up. My case, after quite some time is finally over, and the "strike" removed. I will not have to serve any jail time. He fights to the end to get you the best resolve possible. He happens to be a really nice guy too. I don't ever plan to need his services again but if you are in need of an expert Attorney Robert is the very best. I will never forget how diligent he worked on my case. He's the real deal.

I was convicted with burglary and two strikes, 2 years in prison. I told Robert my case had to be dismissed or worst misdemeanor. Robert got me a minor trespassing misdemeanor and time served. Robert is a professional you can count on to deffend you at best.

This man took my money. Went to Zimbabwe. Never told me. Missed the fact my case was not filed. Sheriffs broke into my home to arrest me. Helfend who never told me he was leaving town in the first place, let me know that that happens "all the time" with his handling of misdemeanor DUI's.
If you want to be re-arrested after Helfend cashes your check and leaves the country - this is your attorney! And NO! He never offered to refund my retainer.....hmm, time to call the bar!

Worst attorney ever!!! Do not hire him. Confused, ineffecrive, cancels or shows up late. Continues court dates over and over again. Loses documents forgets to file motions. Poor litigator. Disorganized. Thief.
