I had my estate planning done by the Hatchett Law Firm last year and it was the easiest process for me. I wanted to set my child up for my death the same way my mother did for me, but I wanted his process to be easier than mine. The firm not only drew up the documents I needed, but they provided me with witnesses for notary. That was helpful. I appreciated how before the witnesses signed we took time out to get tho know each other and I explained my “why” to the ladies that signed for me. I feel at peace with my decision to use this law firm, and I am grateful that I did.

I paid a $3900 retainer on Nov 12, 2024, only to be rudely hung up on (4/17/2025). I'd been calling them for an update for over a week, only to be told that "the case worker will call you back." I was professional on the call and said treatment was unwarranted. The case has yet to be probated, and they won't update me, citing attorney-client privilege. I started as their client, but I wasn't the trustee of the will. I was supposed to become the trustee, but the current trustee changed their mind after I paid the retainer. The case seemed stalled, so I allowed the current trustee to become their client via the firm's recommendation. I'm now paying back the $3900 with no update or representation. I'm a disabled Vet living on a minimal income and in need of help! What are my options? This is my first bad review in my life.

This firm is incredible! We have an extremely involved probate situation, they haven't missed a detail. Not only have they embraced our case with such professionalism, they have embraced it personally. They are easily accessible and are thorough in answering any questions.
