Haiman Hogue made a normally stressful but necessary task easy, effortless, and exactly as planned. Probate sounds terrible. They quoted me a fixed price, told me the process would take about 6 weeks. The price quoted was the price paid. The total time was about 5 weeks, and the hearing went flawlessly. I don’t recommend this service if you’re planning to have kids. It started off great but quickly declined. We initially went in for basic estate planning, just to have our bases covered as a young couple, which was supposed to cost around $4,000. We informed them that we planned to change my last name and were considering starting a family, so we didn’t need anything too complex. I was told these changes, like updating my last name or adding children, would be simple “edits” that wouldn’t cost much.

However, we were persuaded into opting for an $8,000+ plan. Fast forward three years: I now have three children, and my last name has changed. I was then informed that it would cost an additional $4,000 to update my last name and add my children to the plan.

I had a call scheduled with Rex in July, but he didn’t show up to the conference call. I called the office, and it seemed they had forgotten about it. When Rex eventually called back, he was unaware of the details of our case—he hadn’t reviewed our file or anything. He said he would send me something to review, but it’s now been three months, and I haven’t received any documents or a follow-up call.

When we first used their services in December 2021, they didn’t seem too busy, but now it appears they’re overwhelmed and unable to keep up.
