I get a mammogram every year. I absolutely get completely stressed. I have to say this group is amazing from the receptionist to the mammography technician.. I highly recommend this place

I have had multiple scans here instead of getting them done at the big hospitals. My insurance (connecticare access health plan) charges up to my deductible for “outpatient” scans, I.e., the big hospitals around here.
Guilford radiology is billed as a “stand-alone facility " and has a simple deductible. It saved me thousands out of pocket on a CT scan.
I highly recommend them!

I had a mammogram with a f/u ultrasound by a tech who I find is very good. Last week I went there for a bone scan which is the easiest radiology procedure you can have.
Usually no waits more than 5-10 minutes. My billing has been fine unlike some of the other reviews. I worked in health care and understand some of the billing problems but I have not had any of those. I’m sure it is a result of the type of insurance one has too. There are no easy health care visits anymore. Don’t fool yourself into believing it is the same as pre pandemic. Times have changed and it will never go back to the way you expect it to be. Sorry but that’s the truth.

I was told that Madison Radiology was bought by Guilford Radiology and unfortunately because I always had a great experience with Madison Radiology I didn't do any research on this co beforehand. They accepted my insurance so I booked my appointment. On August 29th 2023 I had a lung scan, mammogram and ultrasound done and they placed two claims with Cigna for all three. Cigna promptly paid them in full the billed amount and I have zero responsibility, if you would like to see the page from Cigna I can send it to you. Yesterday I received a bill in the mail for $1,112.00 so I called Cigna and was told absolutely not I shouldn't pay the bill and they are trying to contact Guilford Radiology to correct the bill. Horrible, horrible experience and now reading other reviews it seems to be a common problem with them.

My experience at Guilford Radiology itself was positive. Unfortunately, the service they use for billing has been extremely frustrating. I paid my bill immediately only to later realize that my insurance covered the visit in full. It’s been since August. During my last attempt to fix the problem, I managed to get the billing department on the phone with my insurance and I, only to discover that the information they had been providing to my insurance company was out of date. I am owed $300+ and I still haven’t been refunded.

I've used Guilford radiology a few times and have always had a good experience. My visit today was exceptional. They just recieved a new TV for the MRI so you can watch a movie during the scan! Laura was my tech and was super awesome. The radiologist took time with me while I was there to review the images because a specific thing we were looking for that was communicated excellently between them and my doctor. So happy with them!

Avoid at all costs. I've never had an issue with medical service billing, until I went to Guilford Radiology. What a disaster! The facility is fine, but it's not worth all the calls to the billing department, which I'm still resolving 2 years after my services. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.

Guilford Radiology is Great Every one there is very nice there. I Have been going there for years. You get results right away. They take walk in's . You don't have to wait long. When you're Apt is scheduled at 9 or what ever time they are always on time.
