From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that is cozy and conducive to learning. The librarians are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you find the resources you need.

The library has an extensive collection of books, DVDs, and other materials, covering a wide range of subjects and interests. Whether you're looking for the latest bestseller or an obscure academic text, you're sure to find it here. The online catalog is easy to use, and you can even reserve items for pickup in advance.

In addition to its impressive collection, the Guilford Free Library also offers a variety of programs and events for all ages. From storytime for toddlers to book clubs for adults, there's always something going on. The library also hosts a range of educational and cultural events throughout the year, making it a hub for community engagement and enrichment. My fave of course is the annual fall book and bake sale!

Guilford has a wonderful library! They have a fantastic selection of books and all types of media. Come here to get coupons for reduced or free admission to museums etc. nice sitting areas inside and out to sit and enjoy a nice read! Come here as often as you can

An incredible place and resource. The librarians are very knowledgeable, and are great at stoking a love of reading in kids. It is a great spot for quiet study, with many cozy nooks and charming views. I can always find interesting new books among the staff picks. Browsing is always rewarding. It is welcoming and warm during the winter, and cool and refreshing in the summer. And they also host a lot of events that support the community: from movies and book sales to after-school activities for kids at all ages. Thank you, Guilford Free Library!

Guilford library has lots of nice nooks and comfortable seating areas. Right on the green, a great location to browse the shelves and chill.

Clean library with plenty of spots to study/ get work done. It could have been quieter but it wasn’t too difficult to focus. More space to work quietly and more bathrooms would make this the perfect library.

Guilford Library is a wonderful library, clean, spacious, not stuffy. They offer book clubs for adults and have a section devoted to kids and one for teens. The many free computers they allow the public to use are updated and have a lot of software programs installed. I think they even have software like Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc. There's an electric piano upstairs; they offer a book exchange and a DVD exchange so you can read any book and watch any movie you like. I'm sure they offer even more. It's a delightful place to spend time.

The Guilford library is a spacious wonderful and vibrant place. You'll feel better once you've been there, no matter what is going on in life. Theres just something about it, serene, energizing, everyone enjoys being there.
An electronic piano is upstairs and people play on it using headphones, so as not to make noise.
There are lectures on video making with cell phones, etc.; there's a book club or two and much more
Oh, and they have a great selection of books to choose from.
