I have had several very bad experiences related to GVC problems and delays in their publications in 2022, 2023 and 2024. They sent me a message saying that they could not publish the French 2024 declarations in June on time due to a hacked system and indicated that the authorities were aware of the problem and that there would be no payment consequences derived from that small delay which would then be scheduled with direct payment (SEPA). I ​​have asked another agency and they told me that they had no problem publishing in June 2024. At GVC they received a 10% penalty letter issued on August 30th and sent it to me on the evening of October 4th urging me to pay for something they said would have no consequences and that it is absolutely their responsibility (to publish the declarations on time). They leave everything to the last day and then generate problems that they do not even have the capacity to answer if they are solving them and how.

I made an international call to them and to date they have not communicated by email to say that they are working on it or what they are going to do with what was requested in the letter since the interest has increased (+20% due to their delay in communicating said letter) and it is an amount that does not have to be paid if it is a problem with France but they are not able to communicate with me or with the agency about how they are going to act, nor do they assume their responsibilities.

I have already paid for other problems derived from it when it was the fault of the GVC agency itself. More than 5 years of work with GVC and I am paying the consequences every day with a team that does not speak except to say that they have "transferred" it, without an assigned account manager, with an archaic communications system and paying a thousand euros in expenses every month.

If this is a general problem, why don't they have an action plan to solve and communicate it instead of ignoring what they did in June 2024

I've been working with them for almost 3 years now. The first 1,5 years were great but then it went downhill. In the beginning I had an account manager and she was really helpful. Then, she disappeared without any information - later I learned they no longer have Account Managers.

They also changed their system software, which is awful to use. VAT declarations are often done just before the deadline and sometimes excels etc would not upload to their system. There were many times I was afraid to miss the deadline.

However the by far worst experience is the annual VAT declaration. The first one was filed on the day of the deadline (the time to do it is about 1.5yrs after the year end...). GVC simply did the annual VAT by adding each month's declaration. However this is incorrect. An annual declaration should take the years sales and VAT and in an ideal world match the monthly declarations. I was so stressed out to miss the deadline and be punished by the government.

Unfortunately I did not learn from my mistake to stay with them...
and now we are doing the second annual VAT and it is even worse... their monthly declarations are wrong (too high) and they want to file more VAT than I need to pay (if you calculate the revenue that matches their VAT declaration I would have made more revenue than declared in my annual financial statement...which is impossible because my annual financial statement is correct). Its been months that I try to explain them that they made mistakes and that they over-declare my VAT. Now we are approaching the second deadline and I'm again worried that we will file it just before or even after the deadline. The accountant I emailed with hasn't responded for a month. It's just awful. I'm so disappointed. If you want to save yourself money and energy, don't work with them.

I received an request from UK TA, about my vat filling. I was in 2020-2021. I ask GVC for a clearification of it... They were resposible for that in this time.

I received info that I have to pay 900 EURO fee - for VAT AUDIT 😀
Super cheap company...

I have been a customer of theirs for 4 years now and I hope to end my relationship with them as soon as possible.
The first two years were great, I was even willing to recommend this company to other businesses. Unfortunately, it got worse and worse after that. Their service and maintenance has dropped so drastically that I am afraid to give them anything to do. Thousands of errors, constant amendments to VAT returns. The tax authorities send letters calling for explanations and correcting the VAT returns.
GVC does not feel any responsibility, they make you pay again for the wrong declaration, for their mistakes too. On top of this there are fines from the tax authorities.
It is a pity that negative stars cannot be given.
If you like paying the same thing over and over again, having a hopeless service with a forward manager, having constant audits and penalties from the TA then this company is for you.

Terrible company to work with. Non-responsive and not responsible enough to handle your company's important financial documents. My boss has a ton of problems with GVC and has to babysit them alot. i end up having to pick up the slack and do alot of legwork because of GVC's customer service problems.

I am their customer for almost 1 year. EVERY Vat return, they are late, they give me all the file to review the last day of the deadline, and I risk to pay the fee for late payment.

Tomorrow is the deadline, and I have not received any message from them since 6 days
