I cannot begin to express how incredible the team at Getz Collins and Associates is, especially Katherine Kowalchuk, Terrill Bish, Piper, and everyone I met at the office.

When my ex served me an ex parte order with baseless allegations, I was terrified. Despite his false allegations, I knew I didn't have much money and had never navigated custody court before. I was scared to death of my ex, and while I was aware this fight would happen one day, I was utterly unprepared.

I had been burned by a lawyer before, so I was incredibly apprehensive. I booked consultations with several lawyers, but none felt right until I met Katherine. As a social media manager, I carefully vet everyone I work with. I was inspired by Katherine's tenacity and drive to deliver the truth, no matter how harsh it may be.

I knew she had to be my lawyer.

When I first retained her, she was concerned I wouldn't be able to afford the process and suggested that she only help me file, which was LIFE-SAVING. She recommended I pursue legal aid as it would be more affordable.

Fast forward to the EPO hearing: legal aid dropped the ball, and the opposing lawyer wiped the floor with them. I called Katherine again, sobbing, asking how much it would cost to have her fully represent me. She gave me a ballpark figure, which turned out to be accurate, and I immediately took a loan to retain her as my counsel.

Her team went above and beyond for me. I received all correspondence quickly and efficiently. They contacted me for clarity and supported me no matter how scared I was. Katherine advocated for me in the courtroom and during negotiations. She has an amazing attention to detail and an innate ability to remember key points when required—something the opposition lacked. She and her team had my back the whole way through, and today we finally reached a resolution.

He did not get to take my daughter full-time.
He ended up owing money and settling on a lump sum.

We just purchased a acreage and Micah was our Lawyer at Getz Collins in Strathmore. He was amazing, We were clueless purchasing a rural property and he walked us though the process with ease. He was so patient when we asked a million questions and did not mind when we called back multiple times with even more questions or my husband asking them again and again. We have used other firms in the past and the lawyers took forever to return our calls, but Micah was so nice and would call back right away. His real estate assistant was awesome to deal with as well.

Thanks for being a part of the journey for us getting our dream house. We will be back again next time we will have to get our wills done soon.
