The people here are very nice and helpful. Gr at vibe and great selection of books and other media. If they don't have it, to do their best to get it for you! Also, there are free, or discounted passes to places like the trolley museum that other places of interest like the science museum in Hartford available to card holders.

Enfield Public Library is one of the best libraries I’ve ever been to. The staff are very nice, and they have a wide array of programs for children and adults (sadly, they have none for teenagers.) There is plenty of things to do here, in fact, I can give you a list:

Take out fiction, non-fiction, & children’s books, use the computers, study in a study room, read a newspaper, go to a program, look at reference books, renew books, watch movies, get digital books & other media, and look up books on the catalog.

My 2 year old loves to go weekly! Solid playground and a lot of small activities to play with indoors. Also they hold a lot of cool programs for the kids throughout the weeks.
