The associates here are so rude! I hate having to come renew or transfer my tag for a new car because they act as if you are an interruption to their day. They need to step up! Plenty of other people needing jobs if they don’t want to work there.

I have been a long time resident and this office has gone through major changes in the last few years. It used to be a chore on the old design but the few times me and my family have had to get a title or tags done it has been fast and easy. They have touch screen check ins for whatever item you need help with then you will get called up to a window. Every time I've been there it maybe took 5 minutes the longest to wait but that just varies on how busy it is. Every lady I've worked with has been courteous and helped with any questions I had. Most people dislike going to get any DMV stuff processed but they have made efforts to improve the process and experience here.

on 10/21/2022 I was #14 waiting to be served... for my star license. I was never called and the lights where turned off without the ( state )person working check the lobby for ....maybe another customer. I went to the door to see the attendant leaving...without looking back to see that I was standing and knocking on the door. I talked to the people across the hall to see if there was a supervisor that I could speak with. There was not one on site. I am very disappointed with the service rendered at our Wetumpka office and the state assigned personnel for not checking the camera or not coming to the door to do a visual sweep, that's the least effort to make sure they have served the last customer

I felt like it was necessary to leave 5 stars since I've always had a great experience. The stereotype for DMV's is long lines and rude clerks. Not the case here. Everyone is friendly and accommodating from the tag department to the drivers license department. Sometimes people can have bad experiences but I encourage you to ask how the person is because they might be having a really bad day and accidentally take it out on you. You'd be surprised how quick the sentiment can change by doing that.

I have rode all over creation today with a driver.. and still don’t have my new license. They are so rude. I want to specifically mention that Shari was especially unaccommodating. It is a chore to go get a new license in the first place but to go to four different places and still not get any help is completely ridiculous. Don’t forget to take your W2; marriage license; social security card; and/or your birth certificate because they can’t look you up if you have a copy of your license on your phone. That would be too hard.

We knew there would be a wait time as there always is, but we didn’t except to be spoken to so rudely. We have never registered a vehicle ourselves, we brought all our paper work and were told it was the wrong papers without any explanation. The woman at window 4 was who we were called too and she very obviously did not want to be at work. She threw our papers back at us, waved her finger through the screen yelling that we were wrong and stupid. I tried to call to voice my disappointment but no answer. We grabbed our things and walked away, went to Millbrook instead. Never again will I visit this tag office.

I've read the one star reviews and moved here 2 years ago, I found it very quick and pleasant compared to where I'm from. I will say though if one person is out sick it does seem understaffed, but still not slow. Now some govt workers don't deserve their jobs but a karen will also never be satisfied.

Professional and efficient!
Called to get my tags renewed over the phone because I could not get it done online. The lady who helped me was very patient when I explained the issue and updated all my info, no trouble at all! Thank you so much Ms Sarah 🙂
