My cardiologist referred me to this group of professionals in Daphne. I had described the conditions I was having to my cardiologist nurse. After two calls and waiting a day for her to call me back the cardiologist had decided he did not need to see me. Apparently had tunnel vision as to the cause. He referred me Edema Therapy.

I had previously also called my endocrinologist, nurse, about the same conditions and they referred me to my Primary Care, without seeing me.

My Primary Care was out that week. His backup saw me, ran some basic bloodwork and said everything was normal and I needed to see my Primary care when he got back.

I called to make my appointment with Edema Therapy and they saw me that day. I came in for my first visit and evaluation. After listening a few minutes they were very concerned something was more serious than what they were asked to perform. They made two calls to my cardiologist trying to get me in. The cardiologist was not available for consultation. The Edema Therapy professionals decided their treatment was not what I needed and recommended me to go to the ER. I decided to follow their advice and went. It was determined I had a kidney syndrome that was rare. It typically shows up in 5 in 100,000 children and even more rare in adults. Edema Therapy did not diagnose this condition but they did realize something was going on, more than what was suspected.

I just wanted to make sure everyone that reads reviews knows this group in Daphne listens to you and does not just follow step 1, step 2 and step 3 in the WebMD page or what ever page the doctors follow.

I started therapy with another group but they were not addressing my edema. Within a month with Edema Therapy I was making awesome progress . Edema therapy knows how to get you on the road to recovery. They evaluate and are able to set up a plan of action so that everyone is working for the same goal. I'm a Registered Nurse and feel that they do outstanding work that is based on science. I would recommend Edema Therapy .

I would not recommend this place to the healthiest person alive, the customer service is absolutely horrific. They will make you wait a month for an appt and then cancel your appt the day before with no notice. The receptionist is incompetent when it comes to establishing new patients. Please please do yourself a favor and do not bother gambling with your health at this establishment....
