Started my amended return in April of last year. I was told it wouldn't take more than 4 months so I didn't call for a couple months and was told it was being worked on. Called again 2 months later and was told it was on Bruce's desk and was being handled. Called again a month later and got the receptionist, she said I'll leave him a message, no response. Called again a couple weeks later and the receptionist stated she would leave Bruce ANOTHER message. I had then received an IRS form in the mail stating they were proposing to disallow my return due to not receiving the required documents. Called AGAIN and got the rude receptionist. This went on for months with no response. I got a hold of his email address hoping I would get a response that way. No luck until I practically begged him to respond. I then got another IRS piece of mail stating they are disallowing my return completely due to still not receiving the necessary documents. Called again got the receptionist. I then learned to call late at night, finally got a hold of Bruce doucett (LAST MONTH) and he proceeded to tell me to take responsibility for filing late and that it's tax time so he's busy..it hasn't been tax time for a whole year. Turns out after that conversation he turned my return in(about 3 months after I received the complete disallowment) Needless to say I never got my money. I sent him an email that his incompetence astounds me, I got a quick response to that email wondering why i dont appreciate his hard work. ONE YEAR to get an amended return completed, he went on vacation at least twice during that time and blamed me for it not getting completed. I would recommend anyone else but Bruce. All people that I have talked to agree and have apparently had bad experiences themselves. Save your money and time.
