The sheer incompetence in this whole department is unbelievable. Dealing with a family violence issue, they keep getting the wrong phone number. The wrong address, even when you tell the advocate three second occasions what the correct address and phone number is supposed to be. How is someone supposed to feel safe? When the superior court can't even get the right phone number and address. We will be bringing this matter to the attention of our congressman, our state senator, state representative.

Very unfair courthouse. I have talked to anyone and everyone to try to wrap my head around how a first offense DUI with no fatalities could receive a 3 year sentence. This young man has never been in trouble for anything. So much for second chances especially when the victim had no seatbelt, shoes and was on drugs. I’ve become obsessed with looking into other similar cases and found nothing comparable to this mind blowing harsh sentence. Something seriously wrong with the justice system. Not only is his life basically ruined but the emotional, physical and mental damage that goes with it makes me sick for him and so many others who love and support him.

Tried to call and figure out when is my court date for a ticket i received , they never answered just let the phone ring called all sorts of times but no answer horrible

I just called. It's 4:21 and the recording says that they are closed, and precedes to share that they are open until 5:00pm. I would have to say that someone somewhere is being paid for absolutely nothing.

This place is a joke. A disgrace & a prime example how broken our system is. They continue criminal case over and over for years and let repeat offenders walk. They do absolutely nothing to reprimand non-custodial parents. The lady judge for child support does absolutely NOTHING to enforce non payments. A waste of time for the parents who actually do work and take time off to go there. Do better CT System, you’re being laughed at.

The clerk's office has definitely gotten a lot better over the years the blonde lady that works in the desk up front to the left is the nicest person in there and she's always willing to help you I wish I could remember her name! LOL but props to them for getting a lot better over the years when it comes to customer service, kindness, compassion, and just all around how they treat another human being

This place is a complete joke. All they want is your money. Why they even have ratings on the site is beyond me. They do not care at all. The system is flawed and we let this happen.
They are supposed to have 15 minute recess but take 30-45 minutes. Do your Damn job. They are all jokes. It must be nice to get paid to know and do absolutely nothing. I give them negative stars they shouldn't exist

they changed my court date with no letter or phone call. lazy wastes of space. they don’t care since they get paid for just showing up. should just get absorbed into new haven or just clean house and start fresh. could go on and on but to sum it up they’re lazy and inconsiderate and the rest of the reviews will tell you that too. good luck if you’re going through here. sorry the system is so ungodly awful.
