ONE out of 5 visits I’ve actually been able to talk to someone who seemed to listen and even gave me a call back the next day after checking into my situation. EVERY other time I’ve been up there- the women/gossiping children that appear to sit at the front desk clackin their ghetto long nails and talking amongst themselves have shown no interest in helping me get my Medicaid/SNAP problem solved. I left a note for a supervisor after CARRIE said that’s what I should do for a callback- and that was last week. I’ll be going up there again today and praying before I walk in to keep my cool.
On another note- I NEED a job— get rid of the “workers” who cause ppl more stress in an already stressful situation.!! Ugh !

Being from Louisiana, I was completely expecting a slow process or stone faced workers. And I will eat my words because these ladies were speedy quick, and sweet as could be. They were also able to help me with the paperwork needed so I could accurately fill out forms.

Snap and Medicare guys. Help is ok. The staff is mostly blacks. I'm not racist but there employee diversity is completely messed up. They only help single moms and ppl that can't feed themselves. They're overstuffed and it's hard to get the good helpers. They pay they're employees who wayyyyy too much. They investigate child abuse and mostly its just a bs business decides giving thee kids help during Christmas and giving Medicare advice. Energy asist program is a joke. They might keep your lights from getting turned off but they'll add it to your next month's bill. They shouldn't not pay for the bill. Crazy!!! But I'm glad they are part of the community. But they shouldn't waste so much tax dollars on employee salary.

Degraded and shamed me and took my children without cause. Falsified evidence and had a whole statement of my innocence from the guilty suspect. Won't assist with any resources. Hateful spiteful people who continue to treat me as if I am guilty before I had even been proven innocent and now that I have been unlawfully evicted for the same reason won't help me get stable and arev don't everything possible to victimize my 6 children and I. Defamed my character and put my children in Foster Care where they were abused by so called 'screened" Foster parents who also left them at home to watch the other even younger children they were getting paid to watch while they ' ran errands'made my 10 and 8 year old children watch the younger children in the home. My son was made to sleep on a bed frame and one Foster mother spanked my youngest baby while holding her upside down by her ankle. They have placed all of my children on medication for mental health. Although the caseworker was caught lying under oath while trying to frame me for contempt of court with her supervisor in cahoots the judge still took her word and granted a no contact order even though I haven't missed not one visitation from April until the week before Christmas.The legal system is not made to help anyone but the system

Horrible attitudes, long wait times and bad assistance. They offer services, then tell you they can't help. They have no posted assistance rules or phone numbers so you can complain to their supervisors.
