I turned to David for bookkeeping and tax planning after experiencing poor customer service with my previous CPA, clearly communicating to him that I left my former CPA due to their lack of follow-up and service.

I signed the engagement letter on 7/18, provided my credit card information the week of 8/19, and sent an email on 8/28 confirming that I had submitted my payment details to his clerk. Despite this, I received no confirmation or acknowledgment from David regarding my email or payment details.

By 9/4, I reached out again, expressing concerns about the lack of communication and how I felt as though I wasn’t being prioritized as a new client. Unfortunately, this went unanswered.

On 9/7, I decided to end our engagement due to the complete lack of response and unprofessional behavior. Even now, I've received no explanation for the silence after all the enthusiasm he initially showed. This experience was a total disappointment and waste of time.

David is a great CPA and tax guy for individuals and small businesses. He was recommended by a friend that has a fairly large biz, her son runs a landscape company and they've used him for years. I've now used him for years and only recently met him face to face. He's laid back, smart and knows his stuff. Reasonable rates as well. Highly recommend.
