I had an absolutely awful experience with David Foley. He is hands down one of the worst lawyers I’ve ever had the misfortune of hiring. I was eight months pregnant and facing an assault charge from my ex-husband. We paid him $5,000, but despite that, I still ended up being charged with the assault. He was argumentative and seemed completely uninterested in my case. It felt like he wasn’t on my side at all.

The day of my hearing, just before walking into the courtroom, he told me I would have to plead guilty. I was completely shocked and confused, especially after all the time I thought we were going to plead not guilty. His approach was completely unprofessional, and I had no idea what to expect from him. He also claimed to have worked for the DA and that he could get my case dismissed, but instead, I ended up with two years of probation due to his lack of professionalism.

If you are a person of color, I would strongly advise against hiring him. He did not do his job, took my money, and essentially left me in a worse position. You are better off getting a court-appointed attorney, who would likely do a better job and actually care about your case. His failure to communicate and provide proper legal counsel led to an outcome I never expected. In Colorado Springs, you can find much better representation than this. I would not recommend David Foley to anyone. He is not trustworthy and doesn’t have your best interests at heart.

Absolutely would recommend. Honest and realistic with each possible outcome of the case but works tirelessly to achieve the best outcome. You will be taken care of if you hire Mr Foley. He will work with you, and will give you the best defense regardless of the severity of the case. My life was in a spiral at the time i received my charges but Mr Foley is a huge reason I was able to bounce back from it all.

Mr. Foley has represented me in a couple of different cases. I have always been pleased with the work he has done for me. Most recently, I was incarcerated and the best offer my public defender could get was a lengthy jail sentence. My father hired Dave Foley and THE NEXT DAY he had an offer for me worked out for rehabilitation over incarceration. I was released from jail and went directly to inpatient rehab and because of Mr. Foley’s efforts I got the help I needed to get my life back on track instead of having to sit in jail. I also would like to mention the fact that both Mr. Foley and his staff are very punctual and when they say they are going to do something, they do it. If I place a call to the firm, the staff is always polite and actually takes the time to listen to you. If they aren’t able to answer my question, I literally get a call back from Mr. Foley himself before the end of the day. Usually attorneys are “too busy” to take calls and it’s difficult to get ahold of anyone especially for criminal cases. This is NOT the case with Mr. Foley’s law firm. Whether I’m in jail or not I am always able to get through to someone that is eager to help me at the Foley Law Firm. If you are someone looking for an attorney who is
respected and gets you results, I recommend Mr. Foley and his team. Thanks again for everything you have done for me.
