Very GREAT place to do business!! I found them on Google after my bank closed on me...Not only was I in a rush, I would be arriving LATE after a 35 minute drive with heavy traffic (yeah I'm THAT guy). Directions from google were a bit confusing but I was able to find them in the corner of the BART parking lot adjacent to Redwood Rd (across the street from the Charles Schwab building) ...they were kind enough to wait an additional 15 minutes or so past posted closing just so I could get what I needed done. They were extremely helpful and courteous upon my arrival and even recommended places for me to see after (new to the area). AS IF THEY HADN'T DONE ENOUGH for me, upon hearing that I was a veteran of the USMC, the main man at the desk gave me back the 3 dollar service fee and insisted I take it even after my refusal...so this review was the least I could do for such a wonderful business. They've deeply earned my respect and admiration for all their services, I can't thank them enough! Also their rates and fees beat out the list of other competitors I looked at before I found them; this was well worth the trip, Thank You again 🙂

Amazing service & great rates. They were the best rates I could find in the bay area, and the service fee was only $4.95, which is great if you are exchanging any large amount. Additionally, every time I called, the owner picked up and was happy to answer my questions (I had a lot of questions, so it was very much appreciated!). On the day I planned to come in, I was running late, so I called ahead and the owner said he would stay open an extra half an hour. Will definitely come here again when I need to exchange - thank you!

Quick and professional. Front door entrance only. Only accept bills, no coins, if you are selling currency. Service fee of around $5 USD. Rates are reasonable but would only come again for a larger transaction. Still a good place for exchange

Very courteous and professional. This is actually my third time visiting. First visit was to get Canadian dollars, Second visits was to Eruos and this last visit was to get Israeli shekels and Egyptian pounds. Let me tell you; they ordered the Egyptian pounds for me at no extra charge in fact my entire transaction was without a service fee. "Current World" by far is a better place to do business then any other currency exchange, bank (don't make me laugh) and including the airport. I'd highly recommend your third if not your second stop after securing your international trip, you get your currency through "Currency World".

Totally unprofessional service from Store Owner, Vipul ! Beware, you might lose your original ID. Here is the story of my bad experience i had while planning to buy HK currency.

Initially, I got a acknowledgement of the availability of the currency through yelp messaging from Vipul. When I visited the place and presented my Original California Driver License, he refused to honor it and asked for one more id proof saying there is no match. He took all my personal details too including phone number and address. Then, he started to refuse returning my driver license, I had to plead him to return my original ID for a long time by asking him repeatedly for 5-6 times ! I never dreamt shop owners can act like this !

Think twice before visiting his store. Never do any business here and I would recommend to think twice before exchanging currencies here. This place looks like a total run down location with some fraud business !
