Called them after I found some suspect materials in a 1950s home I had purchased, and then brought in samples the next day. Multiple team members came over and looked at my samples, provided feedback, and we ultimately had 8 materials tested at a very reasonable price. When results came in, they took the time to go over the results with me. At a stressful time, they made my renovation projects a lot less scary. Exactly the help I needed. Could not recommend them more.

I have not actually used CTG but I called them five minutes before closing today to inquire into what they offer. Matt spent almost 30 minutes with me discussing the issues we are experiencing, answering questions, and even providing some recommendations. Came back 3 times on a vinyl sided and aluminum trimmed windows, no paint, charge way too much to begin with then charge for each return visit on a house with no paint. Avoid them at all costs. Go anywhere but here! The OWNER himself did my final inspection and failed me with a house thats not painted? Very dishonest.

Everyone I dealt with at CTG was professional and competent. They are good at what they do, which is assess hazards and hold people accountable to performing work correctly. If you're hiring a contractor to remove asbestos or some other hazard, it's well worth the marginal extra cost to have a third party like CTG check in on them and make sure the work is performed safely and correctly. I hired a contractor who tried to get away with a sloppy, incomplete job, but thankfully the expert oversight provided by CTG gave me the leverage necessary to get the contractor to finish the job.

They were very helpful - they suggested only what I needed to have tested - their price was the best of the four quotes I got.
