Covenant counselors has been extremely professional and accommodating to visitations. Mr. Hendrix understands the importance of children being with both parents and his approach is unbiased. Phillip Hendrix has been a great asset to my families hardship and custody issues. He is very educated in all aspects of custody and supervision and the judicial system. 20 years experience says a lot. Don’t listen to negative reviews! I’m sure they are coming from a parent who didn’t feel the outcome was to their benefit...they didn’t like that the situation didn’t go their way...and probably for good reason. If they quack like a duck, they’re a bitter duck.

I cannot say enough good things about Phillip Hendrix and Covenant Counselors. Phillip’s dedication to helping families (and especially children) has made an incredibly positive impact on my life as well as the lives of many others. I have seen personally his compassion and dedication towards children and parents. It is clear that Mr. Hendrix continually and consistently educates himself on the latest best practices in child and family mental health as well as Colorado family law so that he can bring the best resources and strategies to his clients. In addition, Phillip has been completely professional and exhibits the highest level of integrity when working with parents and children in high conflict divorce. You should run to Mr. Hendrix as fast as you can if you are in need of smart, compassionate and effective assistance. I’m so glad I did and will continue to do so as long as his services are available.

I have known Phillip Hendrix for several years. He assisted me in many aspects of parenting decision making and also served as a resource involving a tough custody battle. Phillip is very knowledgable about the court system and community resources. He takes his work seriously. He is also extremely intelligent and maintains excellent problem solving skills. He is highly regarded in the community regarding parenting supervision and decision making. He has been involved in a number of groups that advocate for parental rights volunteering his time to assist others. He is highly respected by lawyers and judges. He demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills. He is extremely thoughtful and responsible, adhering to the highest ethical and privacy standards. He always communicates readily and seeks information when needed to assist in making determinations. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Hendrix was unprofessional from the beginning. He didn't carry out a proper investigation, didn't contact any of my witnesses or address any of my concerns (such as my ex driving minors around illegally on several occasions, lack of care for the kids basic needs, and his financial irresponsibility). His report was flippant and poorly thrown together and his final report was even emailed to an incorrect email address (sending personal information to some stranger). My recommendation would be to run in the other direction .... very fast before trusting Mr. Hendrix to carry out a fair and proper report.

Phillip Hendrix is a far-right winged activist and has no credentials for practicing the law. Do yourself a favor and pay for someone who is a lawyer and a PC/DM. His ignorance and decisions that came with the two year sentence still affects me and my child to date. Btw, most professionals wouldn't make you sign contracts for two years and would give you an out if they were not satisfied. Phillip's intelligence is reflected in his responses to all these reviews... why would people make this stuff up Phillip?

Phillip Hendrix is very professional and helped make the transition of my supervised visits as normal for my son and I as possible. I wish to share my positive experience with Phillip Hendrix of Covenant Counselors based in Castle Rock, CO. I've encountered parenting visitation and decision-making challenges over the last several months. Phillip has taken the initiative to reach out, educate himself on our specific family issues and has provided a much needed support to help guide and educate options in the best interests of our children. Phillip is exceptionally knowledgeable relating to family and custody law. He is objective, unbiased and has truly become, "... A Source of Help In Times of Need." I HIGHLY recommend speaking with him and engaging his services whether in the role of Parenting Coordinator with Decision-Making, Child Family Investigator or Parental Responsibilities Evaluator. He shoots straight from the hip and shares the facts. We need more professionals of this caliber to help support the many families struggling to navigate family courts which seem to have lost touch on what is most important ... our children's happiness and their ability to share their love and affection EQUALLY with both parents.

I wish i could give zero stars. I have waited intentionally to post this review. I wanted to be sure enough time had passed to allow the dust to settle. It has been eight months since the final decision was enacted with four hours remaining on his post. As a summary, the facts from my personal, two-year experience with Mr. Hendrix are as follows: he never once spoke to the children (for whom he made decisions, several of whom begged to speak to him), he spoke only three times to me, he interviewed me in person only once, his credentials are entirely without merit in this field yet the state of CO hands him unmitigated power of a judge, he does not believe in domestic abuse/violence, he does not protect disabled children nor does he make any effort to understand them, the women's advocacy group in Castle Rock underlines the truth that Mr. Hendrix makes a mockery of abused women, he makes 11th hour decisions with no thought to the transition for the children, & he refuses to file with the court, return emails, contact professionally recommended professionals, or return calls. The number of families & children who suffered at his hand is innumerable. Please research an educated, appropriately degreed Decision Maker. Do all you can to NEVER work with Phillip Hendrix.
