Horror show. The only place worse is St. Rae's. And they are not at all honest, nor do they have any familiarity with any online work, etc. They are pill jockeys who greenwash themselves.

When I went it felt rushed. The lady didn't take me serious and told me to see my doctor. I was told by my therapist to go there because a psychiatrist is supposed to diagnose you with a mental illness.

I called them requesting medical records because a certain law enforcement agency referred me to them. I left a voicemail with a certain Wanda who works at CMHC. She called me back very quickly, within 40 minutes of leaving a message. I have never had a government employee (or anyone related to government functions of any kind) in any capacity anywhere return my communications so quickly. She told me that her agency was not involved in the incident for which I'm seeking medical records and she referred me to another agency. Assuming she is correct, she has been very helpful and prompt. At least in this capacity and interaction, CHMC deserves a lot of credit and that's why I'm giving them five stars. If they have done other good things (or not so good things) that is up to others to determine and people can look at other reviews.

The security desk needs to be on the same page as the rest of the facility
My friend was just looking for the intake paperwork. They send us to the 3rd floor bc. the first floor it’s going to be open at 10am when we arrived at the 3 rd floor no intake application and the receptionist give us the new hrs. of operations at she said it’s a 11 am
The website mentioned 8 am
Who is wrong? Will not urge with anyone but please make sure all of the staffs are on the same page ASAP to avoid any further confusion
Thank you
Sincerely,
I Kampen

You aren't making any of this easy.
Thoughts on my experiences at CMHC, and the "Wellness center". And their apparent inability to effectively treat their patients.
-I'm sorry that you are scared by my high-blood pressure.
-Perhaps, instead of confusion, fear, and disbelief; maybe a solution of some sort.
-Don't look at me as if I did this on purpose.
_ If you can't deal. Get out.
There is a reason that we are all here at CMHC. We are all poor and insane. If we were rich we'd have real doctors. We are also of the mind that we are not always welcome. We hate ourselves for the most part and don't particularly like each other either. There is no "Brotherhood of the Mad'.
We are weak, easily gulled and bullied. We are scared. Almost all of the time.
We are in a state of utter humiliation. Everything that we thought were our strengths have turned on us.
We are not suited to this world. Most of us already feel useless, small and impotent.
Humiliation and frustration are our bread and butter.
Please stop trying to make it worse.

p.s. My social worker and my doctor don't talk to each other. Neither of them talk to the health center.
It's like being a child in the middle of a divorce where the parents won't talk to each other but instead of two parents there are three.
