I was helping a real estate client of mine navigate the abatement process Dave took the time to talk me through every detail of the process. Even after learning the plan had been drawn up and there was a possibility we wouldn’t need his services he made sure I understood everything. i reached out to Connecticut Lead Services [CLS] in early 2023 because my toddler had lead in his bloodwork. I had called a few placed but CLS was the only company that got back to me promptly. I spoke with Brian on the phone who discussed options with us as well as provided education. Both Brian and Dave came out to our home and did a thorough examination. We also had our water tested. The only lead that showed up was on some paint chips on a antique potato masher! CLS sent me a PDF of the results.
Six months later we tested my son and although the levels came down he still had lead in his system. I emailed Brian to explore any possible next steps. Brian got back to me and shared information he collected after speaking with a health inspector from the State of Connecticut for a couple of hours.
He took it upon himself to go that extra mile.
Brian and CLS went way beyond in assisting us. Not only is Brian filled with information and a effective educator, he is also truly invested in wanting what is best for our family. Any caring parent would want what is best for their child and Brian was sensitive to this. I can't recommend this company enough. Truly amazing work!

I highly recommend Connecticut Lead Services. I needed their help for an inspection. They were referred by a friend that used them in the past. They returned my initial call right away and scheduled an inspection on the next business day, they actually shuffled their schedule to help me. Dave and Brian did a thorough job and educated me on how lead was used in older houses. They were really patient with my questions and took their time to do an excellent job. It is clear that their first concern was safety of the people in the house. I will definitely call them for my next project.

I needed a lead inspection for insurance purposes at a rental property. After contacting various companies recommended by the state, who ranged from not able to help to downright surly, it was a relief to finally find Dave and CT Lead Services. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and pleasant, and went above and beyond to schedule the inspection right away to ensure continuous insurance coverage. The report was emailed to me the same day, and was both detailed and easy to understand. The cost of the inspection was very reasonable, given the price ranges I had previously encountered. Dave and his partner are highly recommended!

I wanted to get a Lead Assessment and my insurance agent recommended CT Lead Services. Having the inspection reduced my home owners rate and gave me piece of mind. The day of the assessment was simple. The inspector, Dave, Evaluated the entire home thoroughly. The report came a couple days later in an extreme level of detail I was not expecting. I would recommend Connecticut Lead Services to anyone seeking lead inspection services. Brian and Dave are the real deal. They’re educators, advocates and professionals. Lead is scary stuff, and in my opinion should become standard practice for home inspections. Brian and Dave took the time to educate us and provide a thorough analysis of our property.
