No eye contact. No smile. No greeting. No small talk. NO THANKS!

Part 2 of my TB test was at this Concentra just west of DTLA. The parking structure is underneath the building and in its entrance is on the east side. No elevator or stairs up. You have to go up the ramp you take down into the structure. Kinda creepy.

I almost walked into the ACLU office lol. The Concentra office is drab and quiet. One staff was behind the counter. I was waiting by a sign that says wait here. Instead of coming to where the sign told me to stand, the staff told me to go over to her. Ok.

As the beginning of this review states - no customer service or anything resembling it. Ok. The staff had these two black lip rings. I guess they could scare an abuelita or something. Ok. I let the staff know what I came for and she asked for my phone. Then she disappeared into her office and came back with a few reams of paper. I heard one of them smack loudly against the counter. Ok.

I didn’t really wait too long. That’s a plus. Everyone else was waiting around in the lobby. I got my paper and left as quickly as possible.

They don’t have a ton of people in line or anything like that. It was around 11 am so I’m guessing it’s a good place to get your business done fast. Still. Smiles go a long way. We’re all in it together and the next few years are going to be very, very dark. Ugh.

The staff at the Beverly Hills Concentra told me that if you get here early enough you can park free and she was right.

The only positive was I found the waiting area clean. Receptionist was not friendly. It felt like she didn’t wanna be there, and I was an inconvenience.
And the gentleman who called me back was even more so he just opened the door, shouted my name, and started briskly, walking to the back of the clinic extremely fast didn’t look back, say anything. When I caught up to him, handed me a specimen cup and all he said was to “pee pee up to the line.” Kinda weird commentary.

I went into the bathroom and there was urine on the floor splattered and on the toilet seat. It was dirty and had hairs. So disgusting and unsanitary.

Maybe it’s the location? But I was visiting from out of town during the holidays. And it was the closest clinic. And it was hands-down, the most unprofessional and dirty place I have ever been into. Unfortunately it was for a corporate job position. Or I would’ve walked out. And was time sensitive.

They had doors open on the exam rooms with people getting procedures done. Which I also found very weird. Something I’ve never seen before.

If you can choose any other place, I would. I do believe Proper care should be given to everyone no matter location or status.
I have worked in the medical field, have friends that do and my mother is a longtime nurse. And I’ve never seen anything like this. Management should really reevaluate their employees and do a walk-through And definitely make some changes.

Admittedly, I was a little worried coming to this side of town when this Concentra was assigned to me for pre-employment testing. However, the kind staff here were all so transparent with the wait time and expectations of the visit. There is underground parking with a friendly attendant that made me feel safer coming to this location.

I was offered water or snacks and an apology for the long wait time, which I graciously declined as I had come prepared with my own. I even brought my laptop in order to get some work done. Everyone met me with politeness and an obviously committed attitude to treating me in a prompt fashion.

My recommendation for others who are prompted to come to this location: you will wait (that is normal.), but come prepared with a good attitude and something to keep yourself preoccupied. Bringing a pair of headphones and a phone charger would also be great ideas. After all, it is not the staff's fault for your inability to plan ahead.

This place is ridiculous the wait here is horrendous you're better off going to the county hospital. I've been here since 6:00 p.m. and it's almost going to be midnight the doctor has not seen me avoid this place at all costs. Nothing I didn't come in with a gunshot wound if not I would have bled to death.

I filled out all my paperwork prior to the visit, showed up without an appointment, and was seen within 15 minutes. Front desk ladies were friendly. Carina, the specialist running my test was great. She was quick and professional! Great experience.

I've been to this clinic before and since the doc wasn't feeling any spasms for my back I was "faking". This will be my second time here and hoping for a better experience. The wait time is long asf.

I went into Concentra to have a tuberculin skin test. The waiting room and clinic were clean and inviting. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. I was called in within an hour, given that I didn't make an appointment and there were 6 patients ahead of me. The nurse who saw me was friendly and treated me well. I had an, overall, very good experience at Concentra.

They say they are 24 hours, but there is shielding so you can’t even get in until you run into somebody randomly on the street and when they let you in they tell you oh wait we don’t take anyone except for workers comp. And they would not see me or my small child at all they turned us away when we were in need never go to this place. I do not recommend it. It was a terrible experience for us 🙁
