I promise you the place won't fall apart without any of you no matter what you tell each other. You're not saving lives, just answering phones and punching keyboard keys. Why the attitudes?

All the other places I visited inside the country building to include the security at the entrance of the building has provided excellent service, but because I had the displeasure of dealing with some very rude clerks who informed their supervisor some lies. No doubt the supervisor felt for until she said let's move on, how can I help you? I wanted a disabled veteran license plate for my vehicle, she asked me do I have a letter from my doctor, I replied I did have one, but your clerk threw it in the garbage can. Now the supervisor went back to this clerk to ask her did I give her a doctor letter, at that time the supervisor reached down in the garbage can and removed the letter. There is a part 1 and a part 2 two this story. I just wrote out part 3 with a part 4 to follow. In case you are wondering some of the confusion, I moved here to the state of Alabama in May of last year, and had been misinformed about some information by the clerks, I purchased the vehicle in question here in Alabama, and I have paid over 450.00 from May to December for Tags and then I walk out of there with ? % Disabled veteran plate what I was trying to get from the beginning ?

I dread every time I have to go to this DMV. The supervisor is always rude and will not listen. I actually had a clerk look at a bill of sale that Had a Chevy Silverado listed on it and asked me if it was a motorcycle. OMG! This DMV has rules that do no apply at other DMV offices in the state of Alabama. The worst DMV in the U.S.

My wife called the tag office requesting assistance with the filing of a lost title. My father in law had past, and the vehicle has been sitting for two years. The person answering the call was rude from the begining. After explaining what was needed, my wife received a five minute lecture on how "it was a crime if she was lying about her sibling's approval for filing the title, and it's a felony if she were to get caught!" This person knew nothing of our situation, and immediately accused her of being there for fradulent purposes!
We called back to explain her experience to a supervisor, only to be told the office was aware of this person's constant rude behavior. The supervisor apoligized and provided instructions for what we needed to do. After gathering the information and going to the tag office, this associate continually barked over the person helping my wife! The person continually asked what my wife was trying to do. Mind you, they were not the person assisting us! It upsets me to know this is the approved treatment for Colbert county citizens when dealing with this office! I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior! It's shocking and totally unacceptable!
Thankfully, Kayla and Lauren were there to help us through the filing! It was the opposite of the previous experience.... They were fantastic!

Walked in only person in line around 9:00am. I was here to buy my tags and was there a total of 3 minutes. I have learned not to go at last minute. Go before last day. Work has been done to courthouse. Looks very nice.
