Want to start of with a big thank you to all who handled my adoption as well as guardianship of a person and state.

My case was a long case not because the attorneys or lawyers made it long but because my case was prolong due to my bank not having enough experience on how to handle my now daughter life insurance and I had too many court order from judge ultimately I change banks and it was fast and easy however Covid hit my adoption some how got a bit delayed and I also needed some documentation that was a bit hard to get but once I got that document it was fast and I always had a piece of mind knowing Charlene was there to answer and help with any questions or concerns I might have. Again it was great working with all from clearly and Hammond thank you all.

I’m unsure to how to start this because the last three years have been the most mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotional draining years that I have lived. At one point I felt like giving up and walking away. I gave it one last shot and found this firm. I had been with a previous firm who scammed me for my money so I skeptical at first. I had my initial interview where the truth was said and no promises were made. From, the staff they were honest and didn’t hold back. They let me know that it won’t be easy but they will fight and they will guide but there’s no point in doing that if I was willing to do my part as a parent. Stephen Nagy and Ilse Williamson are a team like no other. Here we are today with my goal achieved and my cy child next to me. Be patient and listen to your legal team because these two guided me through the ropes and didn’t let me give up on myself. I wish I could do more than say thank you to everyone because they gave me hope and if it wasn’t for then I would have given up myself. The truth will set you free so if you know the truth stick to it and it will come out eventually. Thank you once again!

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by this firm. I remitted a retainer of $5,500 for the completion and filing of a divorce petition. As of today, I remain married and, regrettably, find myself in a more precarious financial situation than before.

My “account” has been billed monthly, despite a complete absence of progress on my case, which, I must emphasize, has been closed for over two years. The persistence in monthly billing for file handling is particularly bewildering, given that my case never progressed to a court appearance. The April statement, reflecting a charge of $10,000, is particularly disheartening. I consider these billing practices to be wholly unethical and should be reported to the BBB.

UPDATE: Theresa just called to see about the review left, my husband said “I think you all are disgusting and absolute trash” she laughed & hung up. This place does not care about you as a person. We even told them about a negative experience we had with a previous family law attorney, they did the exact same thing. Theresa is actually the person I talked to twice about being over charged. I wrote down the time/date/person. She reads the notes & blamed it on upper management. Said she would call right back, never did. Haha. They genuinely do not care about their clients whatsoever, they only care about billing you as much as possible. They do not care about the multiple Ives they ruin.

It’s all true. I could go into great detail, I’ll keep it as short as possible. My husband has paid child support for 8 years, never missed a payment. His kids are in a different state. Mom found out he remarried, decided to take him to court to get $2,200 a month from $800. We put $2,500 as a retainer. Our thought was if it’s going to go up that much, he wants to get the kids in our home more. We pay $175 every week. It was the agreement that was worked out. They call us at least once a week saying you need to make a $1000 payment, you need to make a $3,000 payment etc. it’s not just been once or twice, it’s constant. We found out that we have been paying for 3 attorneys without notice or consent. We let them know that we only authorized one attorney. They kept billing us for three & never called us to try to fix it. We went to court & the awesome attorneys here made it to where he’s now paying $2,700 a month & no visitation. Incase you missed it, that’s $500 more than mom petitioned for. How does that happen. We even provided proof mom was hiding income. Then, to top it off we got another call today telling us they are putting a lien on our house for our large balance… mind you, we are still making payments. Haven’t missed a single payment. We have even made the extra payments they “need to go to court” this place is unethical & disgusting. My husband is a good dad that just wanted to see his kids. He spent 10 years in the Marine Corps, served his country in Afghanistan to come home to this.

The judge was also impressed with the discovery and questions that made him take a second look at the case. This and Joel's tactfully outlined questions and rebuttals is what ultimately gave the judge enough evidence to decrease the amount of support.

Cons: The cost can be expensive. Please communicate in the beginning what your desired expectations are so that you understand how work is billed to you.
