I went through a very messy custody battle that had been previously screwed up by another attorney which left me looking like a bad mother to the judge. That broke my heart because I was not those things the judge thought. My son was going through very tough times and I needed someone great to represent me. I unfortunately didn't do that at first and my first attorney didn't care about my case and just sat there like a bump in a log. Even when I had the evidence.

I know my temper and a diff lawyer something bad prob would have happened but she helped me keep my cool and ultimately turned out to be an awesome attorney.

I have referred her to other people as well because I trust her completely.

EDIT TO CHANGE MY REVIEW: I did get a call and Jodee was very apologetic about falling through the cracks during the pandemic. Finding a humble business owner is a very difficult thing to do, and Jodee executed that perfectly. Our phone consultation was brief but informative and she was ready to help. I look forward to working with her!

Jodee helped me with a modification that went to court. She handled everything really well. From the initial cost to the final paperwork, she was so on it! As I told her, she has changed my perspective on lawyers. I hope I never have to call her again, but would be very confident she'd knock it out.
I changed my review after the 2nd unexpected $500+ charge. This attorney will do whatever she can to charge you after the fact. BEWARE of this attorney's willingness to do what seems like standard things, i.e., reviewing a contract, then sending maybe 3 emails to the opposing attorney. $500 - give me a break, lady.
